May 1944: Canadian tanks begin their final push to drive the Germans from Italy. At each step, over rugged mountains and through steep valleys, the Canadians confront Hitler's elite Panzers -at the Melfa River, on the Trasimene Line, in the formidable Gothic Line, finally battering their way into the Po Valley.

1965: American ground forces and Marine Corps tanks, land in South Vietnam, confident that conventional military will defeat the Communist insurgency. But American Tankers quickly discover that even the power of armor cannot overcome the guerrilla tactics of the Viet Cong and the North Vietnamese Army.

Following the Tet Offensive in 1968 the North Vietnamese begin introducing conventional forces including Soviet built PT 74 amphibious tanks into their guerrilla tactics. As American forces begin to pull out the NVA gradually transforms into a conventional armored army sporting hundreds of Soviet T54 tanks ready for the invasion of the south.
