This whole film is an embarrassment. I couldn't stop cringing at the hokey, B-movie dialogue. Unfortunately, it's too bland and dull to have any camp value. The performances are uniformly wooden, however, it's hard to fault the actors when the roles are so emptily written. Every single character here is an insipid bore. The ending could not arrive in a more predictable fashion and references to Kafka and Chekhov do nothing to enhance the dynamics of the story. In a city as vibrant as NYC, it's very frustrating they couldn't find more engaging people to focus this film on.
