The "missing Charlie" storyline is a bit of an up and down in terms of quality.Kyle playing the hero is a definite high, but then it degrades into Lyn ranting pointlessly about how she knows best and everything is someone else's fault.Which is resolved by an equally over the top rant from Paul. However, the final scenes do manage to pull a decent rabbit out of the hat as to Charlie's motivation, which is good to see even if it does leave the characters a bit short-sighted.
Apparently no-one told the Kennedys this was going on because they're indulging in amusing food metaphors, evil scheming and faux sex shenanigans. This plot line does actually produce a few amusing moments, especially with Toadie, Libby and Lucas at the bar exchanging one-liners.
