Review may contain spoilers. The Crush starts off as a sweet little story about an elementary school boy who has a crush on his teacher. From there the short film starts to take a seemingly dark turn. Instead of accepting the boy's love the teacher gets engaged to a random douchebag, which sends the little man into a spiral. Eventually the little man challenges the douchebag to a duel to prove who truly loves teacher. Instead of going fully dark the short film deviates from it and the little man learns an important lesson. Overall, The Crush was an enjoyable movie that causes you to great concern over how it will end, but fills you with relief when it changes directions. As it is an interesting little short film I would definitely recommend watching it as its runtime is about 15 minutes and it can easily be found on YouTube.
