"Those two are very devoted to each other and if anyone cares to ask me that's just what I'll tell them"

Warning: Spoilers
If you overlook what a blind alley the Grace-and-Thabo storyline has ended up being, there's much to appreciate as to the end of this saga with sympathetic characterisation for everyone:Elijah determined to protect Grace, Grace getting in a noble self-sacrifice and attempting to take something positive from the experience, Miles' loyalty to his friends, Morag trying to make the law work for them, Leah concerned, Sid going to bat for people he hardly knows.Morag's argument about the flaws in the "better life" Elijah offers do make sense for moment until you consider the alternative.

Sadly, perhaps the ultimate message here is that Elijah should have stayed away from Leah, which makes Grace's last message a bit hard to bear. There is, however, a nice note of ambiguity which rescues it somewhat.
