Paul continues to be portrayed as a criminal mastermind, as he sets out to take Michael's job off him in revenge, with Andrew as a typically willing pawn.Despite the unlikely way that he manages to turn half the school against an apparently popular principal, there's some nice plotting here.Natasha is well characterised:She might be at odds with Michael but she recognises that making him lose his job is a step too far.Rebecca standing up to Paul at the end is a "punch the air" moment.
Declan staying with Kate is a nice twist and he acquits himself well in Brennan's attempts to play alpha male.Brennan dragging Lucas along to a police open day is a bit of a puzzler, although we do eventually get an explanation that makes sense.
