Vena, Professor Newton, and Ranger Sandy set off to look for the missing Rocky and Bobby (Winky, Rocky's usual co-pilot and buddy, is off searching elsewhere in the solar system, presumably because actor Scotty Beckett had recently been arrested); meanwhile, enterprising cave-villains demonstrate that rockets are no match for rocks in some circumstances. This bridging episode advances the plot of the moderately interesting story and sets up the fairly predictable finale.
