Rocky faces the high court on Ankapor with Biff acting as his attorney. Vena is called to testify as to Griff's character, providing a chance to recycle footage from the 'Beyond The Curtain Of Space' story-arc after which, to counter Vena's damning testimony, Dr. Reno asks Griff to explain how Rocky used an invisible rocket to steal valuable cargo (recycled 'Pirates of Prah' footage). Meanwhile, in an attempt to influence the court through Jonica, the Ankaporian judge's daughter, Bobby recounts how Rocky saved women and children on the Gypsy Moons and later on Ophecius (illustrated by scenes from 'Rocky's Odyssey' and 'The Crash of Moons'). Meanwhile, on one of the United Worlds's space stations, Pinto Vortando frees himself and after some brawling, heads back to Ankapor with Ranger Clark to clear up the judicial misunderstanding.
