Jean Reno said that he was tired playing the same character (mellow) in movies, but he doesn't seem to be able to get away from it. Even if there are bursts that seem to free him from that cage in this movie, the overall impression is a mellow state. The subject matter would be ripe for a great comedy. And sometimes this might even feel like one. But unfortunately it never is.
It's not bad either, but the most of the jokes are too predictable to be funny. There are also story parts that seem redundant (like a notebook being written and then being tossed out of the window ... only use, some "jokes" that might make people chuckle during the movie, most of them being cliché). Acting wise it's good and the characters are defined nicely too. An average comedy overall
