"The Precious Fragmentation" makes worthy jokes out of many nerdy pop-culture references on "The Big Bang Theory"

Warning: Spoilers
In this last season episode of "The Big Bang Theory": Sheldon, Leonard, Raj, and Howard are coming back from a garage sale that has many cool stuff to admire in a big box they're bringing from it like a Ghostbusters script with actual slime on it (actuall, it's the sequel), an ALF doll that Howard holds lovingly because he used to think that character would one day bring his divorced dad back from Melmac, and the stolen prop ring from the Lord of the Rings movies. Because they're all nerds, they fight for ownership and trade value (Raj especially wants to trade it for a jet ski since all the cool fictional movie characters ride them) so Leonard gives it to Penny to wear until they decide what to do with it. Of course, Sheldon being himself isn't above trying to steal it off of her neck when she's sleeping...This was another hilarious ep of the show that makes many witty and gut-busting comments among all the characters. As always, Sheldon gets most of the worthy laughs whether making noises or using some kind of item used for grabbing things. So on that note, "The Precious Fragmentation" is another fine ep of "The Big Bang Theory"

This was great. I loved watching the guys looking through the box and Penny being all annoyed by that. The best was of course them holding on to the ring to see who will win. All that they were doing, moving, going to pee, trash talking moms was great comedy.

When the boys buy a grab box full of nerdy junk, there is a ring which appears to have been on of the rings used in "The Lord of the Rings" movies. Of course, since they all chipped in on the box, the ring (worth thousands) becomes a sought after treasure. Soon they are doing contortions to be the one who gets it. Of course, Sheldon believes he has a right to it. A very funny episode, especially when they all end up at the apartment, each clasping a part of the ring.

A 'Lord of the Rings' ring manages to divide rather than unit the boys here, as the show embraces fan culture once more.

As an example of the chemistry between the main four leads this is a good episode, but is one however that relies on this to carry a rather thin story.

It has some decent moments and some nice interplay along the way, but the ending feels to just happen rather than there being a big build to it.

There's been a lot of fun in these early episodes (S1-3), but you can see why moving forward they added other characters to develop the series further.

Overall it's another decent if unspectacular episode of 'The Big Bang Theory'.
