Verdict

A man turns on the television in his apartment only to watch a masked killer murdering a woman, but is that his apartment block? His curiosity peaks and he ventures out into the halls to investigate.

Standing at around three and half minutes it's moody and interesting but when it comes to deliver you a payoff it stumbles, trips and faceplants in a big broken nosed bloody mess.

Concept, sound.

Delivery, solid.

Finale, embarrassing.

Rants

So would you venture out? You've just seen a knife wielding masked maniac hack up one of your neighbours, do you play hero and rush out to combat this foe or do you lock your door and call the police? Me, I'd just be wondering why the in the blue hell a cctv camera is being played through my ruddy television! I have my prios right.

curiosity

A man in his apartment. The Tv on and the image of a murder. The location seems be in his block. So, curiosity, maybe some fascination and the discover of autenticity of TV images and hard save of his life.

At first sight, the end seems just forced but, with some indulgence, it can works as a portrait of a sacrifice, saving the life of first victim or the price of curiositz of a lonely man who looks for explanations.

Being so short, the admiration for good story and well craft are the only significant, real significant facts about it.

A simple story with nice impact.

And , more important, something who can be just near your apartment door.
