some of the most i laughed

Both episodes were hilarious. Abandon Twits had alot of amazing gags and a fun premise, Ian V's amazing animation makes it 100x times better too. Wallhalla was super fun too and tons of great jokes and timing. Watching new spongebobs at once taking me back to when i was a kid. I'll never stop loving this show. I recommend checking these out. I wish nickelodeon was better at airing these and used Paramount Plus more to their benefit. Release them in batches or after they air on TV. Instead randomly adding episodes years after they air. Also squidward's dancing is beautiful, i need it framed on my wall.

One of the weakest episodes of the season paired with one of the strongest.

Warning: Spoilers
Abandon Twits was a solid episode, but it was one of the weaker episodes, mainly because of the unnecessary Squidward torture. The episode itself is unique, fun to watch and has some good jokes, but the Squidward torture here made it a bit worse (some of the jokes torturing Squidward were actually funny though). Also that ending was a bit too random. 7/10 (Good).

Wallhalla was obviously better, it had that gross nosebrush scene, but aside of that, it was a super unique and fun episode with a very enjoyable character whose name is Wally. The two urchin poop jokes were also unfunny but at least they were executed in a way that wasn't actually gross. The ending felt a bit wholesome for some reason. There's two scenes with unfair Squidward torture but both scenes are very light torture, in fact, the last one was just him overreacting to SpongeBob and Wally's laugh. 7.5/10 (High Good, almost Great actually).

Overall: 7/10

UPDATE:

I changed my overall rating to 8/10 after rewatching Wallhalla. That episode is actually GREAT and my second favorite of the season now. I really recommend watching this one, especially if you like the animation of modern SpongeBob (imo the animation is excellent now).

Abandon Twits: Still 7/10 Wallhalla: 8/10

Overall: 7.5/10 -> 8/10.

"Wallhalla is amazing!"

Warning: Spoilers
Abandon Twits was NOT THAT GOOD. Thankfully, Wallhalla saved the day.

I'm honestly not a big fan of Abandon Twits that much and it's mainly because of unfair Squidward torture. There were some good parts like Squidward dancing and the sentient wood plank, but I really don't think it's that good. It feels like Luke is just going back to his Seasons 6-9A self by making an unfair Squidward torture episode because Squidward torture in the modern era is mostly done right, and I'm surprised at Luke when he made this. This might actually be my least favorite episode of the season so far.

Wallhalla on the other hand was so much better because it's one of those episodes that it feels weird, but the execution makes it looks like a creative and classic episode, just like Lost in Couch from The Patrick Star Show. Wally was a really awesome character and even SpongeBob says "Wallhalla is amazing," and I absolutely agree with him. The only thing I can complain about is the nose brush scene because it's gross and disturbing.

Overall: The overall rating is 7/10, but I'm keeping it 10/10 just so that the rating is higher.
