Warning: Spoilers
I saw this at the 2022 Venice biennale.

The film is beautifully shot with wonderful colours and composition, and excellent production values. There are echoes of Vermeer.

We.watch a team of dogs (I counted nine) as they run wild through the house. They toss and pull at hunks of red meat. A man lies dead in a pool of blood.

The affect is visceral. We anticipate and await the attack on the man. The dogs sniff at the man and loick his penis.

The film portrays a sense of dread, fear and uncertainty. We wait to see what the dogs will do to the man, as she would have waited and anticipated a violent attack.

Great work.
