My prediction from the previous episode was pretty much spot on. Robert gets it on with his motherly client Nicole Craig (Sarah Parish) in the back of her limo, with Robert exclaiming "Mommy" in post.

We'll see how Industry plays out in season two in a post-pandemic world where lustful desires pretty much dominate the industrious types.

The worst decision that was made was to make a series 2.

The second worst decision was to extend the length of each show.

It just seems to drag out with the same stuff but longer.

The characters are still vacuous with little in the way of endearing attributes.

I know that only loyal fans are watching at this stage but I am the exception watching so that I can chat to my workmate about the show.

I guess my intensity is like that of the repressed Robert but that is the only character I can vaguely resonate with.

The show has been brought to BBC 1 from BBC 2 but this is no Line Of Duty or Peaky Blinders which is probably why it is not on at peak time.

Even the sex scenes have been downgraded.
