Better than episode one.

Terry and Gemma (I badly want to say June!) are drawn into a feud between two rival bakers. The locals are getting poisoned, and one surely has to be responsible, aiming to bring the other down.

A slight improvement over the opening episode, it was at least witty in parts, the title was definitely a good one. Daft as you'd expect, but at least it made me chuckle a couple of times.

Credit to the production team for choosing some great music, several good tunes here.

Some nice ideas in the script, very Romeo and Juliette, especially at the end.

I adore Paul Whitehouse, slightly wrong looking yo play a baker, but who cares, he's wonderful.

Two of Bad Education's original cast members, Ethan Lawrence and Layton Williams, both were decent enough.

6/10.

Evil Under the Bun

The name is a pun on an Agatha Christie story. The inspiration id William Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet.

The Montgomery's and Caplan's have been rival bakers across the street for generations. Now it seems that people are being poisoned from products made by both bakeries. Both Terry and Gemma hire themselves out to each of the bakers to investigate. It's a win-win for them.

Gemma's sister, Monica is involved in a production of Romeo & Juliet sponsored by the bakers. Unfortunately some of the cast got poisoned and may be in further danger.

Maybe the offsprings of the Montgomery's and Caplan's are involved in a twisted plan. Could they be heading for a fall?

A mixture of hammy acting, bad plotting but this is an improvement from the first episode. Some of the gags are even good.
