The show is like a reality check which tells you about the male dominating attitude where females are still not allowed to go against the whims and wishes of the male members of the house. Love the way Maina breaks all the barriers.

Sandeepa Dhar & our legendry Deepak Qazir just gave the best to this show and surely this has come out really well. Maina the character has been a true source of entertainment, entertainment, entertainment!

Fake and overacting

I watched it just for 15 mins and I could see that it was going nowhere and was pain to watch. The acting and plot all looks very fake and is not at all convincing. The main leads of the serial are hopeless and could not carry the native UP /Bihar style conversation which is seems to be the background. The direction and story is very shallow with no depth and fails to keep you glued to the television. All the scenes look as if actors are trying to "act" in front of the camera and are not really getting into the character.

It currently rates as 8.6 on IMDB I think it deserves a 9 atleast considering the story line and direction and specially a characters of the show are so fun to watch. Maina toh favorite hai is show ki please watch the show for Sandeepa Dhar's performance you would regret watching it !

The start of this show is pretty interesting, it shows life in a small town quite seamlessly. Love the way Sandeepa and Vikram are introduced.

Episode 2 is one of the most entertaining episodes, as it takes us to a world where people are fancy about online dating, and how they relate these things in their real lives. The entire show is a treat to watch as well.

Loved the way the show captures how perfectly the fact that people in small towns still fear to confess their feelings out of peer pressure, family disputes, society and such orthodox thoughts. They fear being judged for their choices and ultimately boycotting them as an individual from society.

The series also tells you how fake the politicians are just for the sake of adding votes they start showcasing the public about the work they do for the wellbeing of women in the society. And ultimately they don't even bother to work on those grounds.
