Hilarious, except for Brandon Ash Mohammed.

Great show and it's hilarious! I predict Brandon will win because he is so unfunny and has a terrible sense of humor so he will never laugh or smile. I am just confused why this guy is on the show, he does not hold a candle to the rest of the cast and he is not funny at all.

This is funny!! Funny and weird, charming, loveable, and even a little cringe at times.. I loved every second of it... I love ALMOST every second of it. Colin Mochrie and Tom Green steal the show for me - I wish Dave Foley lasted longer, that devious devil, and Jon LaJoie, who I've never heard of was amazing... almost nearly, everyone was!

I hope there's a season 2.

Some where between funny lane and awkward boulevard

A bunch of Canadians put in a room together trying to make each other laugh, while simultaneously trying not to laugh, how is that not funny? We have some of the funniest Canadians right here and some points it feels like they're holding back because they know they will make themselves laugh. Then there's Tom Green being always Tom Green. It's awkward on top of awkward to the point it's funny and Jay Baruchel is the prince of Canada who can do no wrong. This might not be your cup of tea, but that doesn't mean it's bad. You just haven't had a delicious cheese sandwich.

Ridiculous, and that's why I love it

Unexpected, ridiculous, and hilarious. I watched the first couple episodes with my partner and was basically yelling the entire time. Very silly and playful humour, you immediately connect with the actors and the types of bits they do.

The comics are excellent. Tom Green and Collin Mocherie are genius, of course. This is just a bunch of comics doing zany stuff and trying not to laugh. What brings the show down is the host, Jay Baruchel. He's simply awful. His jokes are stupid and he's just generally annoying. That's probably why he's the host and not a contestant. I am not offended by cussing, but I think it's just stupid when a comic just constantly drops the "f" bomb for no reason. His gratuitous and frequent use of it is just annoying. He's like that annoying guy in your group of friends that you just can't stand to be around. This show would have been so much better if they chose a better host that's more likable-maybe Dan Levy.

Good laughs from Canadian talent

This is a great concept and I found myself laughing a ton. It's very tame compared to the Japanese version I must say though. Some great bits by all involved, especially Tom Green and Colin Mochrie. I think Jon Lajoie is an ideal contestant for this kind of show because he's creatively funny and you can see him about to crack dozens of times. 4 episodes in and can't wait for more!

Worth Writing My First Review In 13 Years

I've been an IMDB member for 16 years and wrote 1 review 13 years ago, and that was just to get the "write a review" notice on my incomplete membership profile checked off.

I have tons of ratings and do a lot of updates but have never been moved to join any conversations (when we had message boards) or leave reviews. Until now. This show is So Disappointing!

We found ourselves pestered non stop online and on TV with ads for this show. "Canada's funniest comedians! Jay Baruchel! Try not to laugh!!"

Well if these are Canada's best comedians we are in trouble. The only ones I've heard of are Dave Foley (funny but seems to be killing time), Tom Green (used to be funny but now a desperate older man yelling CHEESE!), Caroline Rhea (funny actor not comedian) and Colin Mochrie (funniest thing on the show which makes him stick out).

The rest of the comedians are almost all awful. I won't single out the worst but some are just... wow and oh boy. Letterkenny guy is actually good.

As for Jay Baruchel, he must be there for easy cash. He was clearly given some terrible lines to say when he uses his cards etc (the rules are long & stupid) and it's obvious he doesn't really find this show funny. He's a good sport but not a convincing host and not funny himself, not that he has much to work with. Don't expect Funny Movie Actor Jay Baruchel.

How can you fix this show? Simplify the rules. Find better comedians. Most of all stop spending tons of tax dollars to make and non stop advertise this show til it's actually something worth seeing, which is a long way off.

After all the ads we were Very Disappointed with this show. 3 stars for being Canadian and having Colin Mochrie and Dave Foley.

This was the first Lol: last one laughing that I saw in English and it was a releaf. I used the subtitles in this one too because of some parts where someone talked in French and I couldn't understand. Most of the comedians were funny but some had the opposite effect.

Really enjoyed the locked room theme. The comedians may not have been laughing but I know I was. Profanity is a must, not sure if this will hit a cable channel but it would be a shame to lose all the $h;t talk.

A tragic waste of both talent and profanity that's badly needed elsewhere these days. I've greatly enjoyed the work of many of these comedians, but even the best of them seemed awkward, lost, and confused.

Dry at points but works. Growing up with lots of these Canadian comedians made the show for me. Great to see them all still doing there thing. So many weird/hilarious moments. Glad I watched.

They really nailed it with a good mix of Canadian legends and up-and-comers; as a big fan of comedy I recognized all of the contestants. Super fun show, really interesting to see all of their different comedy styles compete on a single level on a silly, lighthearted, nonsensical show. Pure fun and hilarity. Can't wait for the next episodes!

I laughed out loud so many times watching this. Love every contestant and it was such a joy to be a fly on the wall and watch what they do best! Highly recommended.

Great idea, but whoever was in charge of the execution of this travesty should never be allowed to produce another show.

Seriously NO comedy or game show should require a complete episode just to explain the premise and pat the contestants on their backs for being there before starting. Oh and by the way in all this they don't even bother to explain basic rules and penalty worthy activity to the 'contestants'

Great talent but totally forced humour and the moment any tempo is built they immediately stop it.... in the most annoying way.

Needless elaborate and convoluted. Go back to the drawing board or better yet go back to the original format without all the faff.

Well we found this hilarious. Thought the whole concept was great and I wish there were more seasons. Some great seasoned comics. Caroline Rhea was my favorite. Big thumbs up!

I don't know what the host is watching where he just about wet's his pants every 2 minutes. Or those that are giving this show anything above 1 star, but this show isn't funny. I know comedy is subjective, but come on, Tom Green going on about delicious grilled cheese sandwiches, or prop comedy with bad British food, or Colin dressed as a squirrel? If this was an Amazon purchase It would of been returned. The only redeeming thing is the winner gets 100k for their charity.

This was so fun and awkward to watch in the best way possible. I just wish there were more seasons because this is one of my favorite shows now. The things they did for a laugh was so hilarious and I have been re-watching the season because it's fun to watch comedians kind of lose it while trying to break other comedians.

This LOL series is amazing; the Japanese one and the Australia ones are great as well. What a great idea.

This show so far is so hilarious!! I am dying laughing at this craziness. Thank you so much for creating this show and seeing these hilarious comedians work together. I don't know how long I could have gone without laughing at the "It's so hot in Toronto" bit. So many hilarious jokes happening all over. All of them are so funny.

Definitely a few parts that make you say wtf but it is actually very funny. Jon Lojoie and Colin Mochrie have made me laugh the most, Colin just being funny and Jon for the faces he makes trying not to laugh!

Having watched multiple LOL country versions, this one is at the absolute bottom! Even needing to read subtitles for other LOL shows, they were so much funnier. I so badly wanted to like it and laugh, but it didn't do it for me at all. Indicator for the show not being funny is too much time wasted on the backstage crew and the host walking in and out the hallway. Seriously?

The host is annoying af. Needing to watch him simply hurts. If there's a 2nd season, better be without him and some more fun and jokes.

Come on Canada, you can do better than this?!!

I must say, it's has to be hard to have 6 solid hours of comedic work in your back pocket, as well as trying not to laugh at others. It's giving us a good laugh, and cringe at times. We will take it :)
