What about this episode? There were spikes of emotions, and as much as you expect something sad, you don't get used to it when the show delivers it in the heaviest and most touching way possible, I don't know which way the show will take, in fact in no episode I know, it's it being an unspeakable honor to accompany this.

Unbelievably sad

everything an anime could be

This series touches on a lot of the depths of the human condition, simply because its main character isn't human and exists to learn and understand humanity. The unfortunate reality in Fushi's existence is the sole aspect that makes life, life: it ends. He experiences it now, twice, in very grim and heart-wrenching situations. This series, and all props go to the studio for not only being faithful to the manga but expounding on it and adding a layer of emotion that only works through a cinematic experience, is truly a world beyond the levels of emotion that most shonen delve.
In terms of lore, I would put this on the level of Made in Abyss, and in terms of depth of character I would put it close to One Piece (which is notorious for having some of the deepest and most traumatic backstories in all manga). To Your Eternity truly goes well beyond the conventions that so many manga and anime fall victim to, and it does it with seeming ease (although I can't imagine if this solitary episode is as soul crushing as it is to a ~casual~ viewer, what writing must have felt for the mangaka who has actually lived these characters' lives in their head.) Simply astounding. 10/10.

When i first seen trailer i said: okay, it look fun i'll watch, then when first episode released i was like okay, nowever it will be fushi's adventure and it will be fun but now i feel that this show will just make us cry and depressed.
Can we talk about soundrack?
If you don't cried for March's death i bet you cried for the soundtracks.
Not mention the animation it was perfect.
Thank for this masterpiece.

This episode felt like a knife to my heart💔 i haven't felt this broken, sad or depressed since Grave of the fireflies! Attack on Titan is depressing as well, but you can't compare to this show! Tries its best to make me cry
Best episode thus far.
This anime is great

This is the best spring anime no doubt. The animation and music are amazing and the story is captivating yet leaving so much to discover. This episode was probably the best one yet and the preview for the next one is intriguing.
On way to become masterpiece

It wasn't as emotional as episode one for me but it possibly beat it. Marchs death was a surprise and a sad one at that and the orb (forgot his name) got lots of character development. So did the girl (also forgot her name) and it was great to see. I was especially scared when she held the knife to her throat. Overall this show has had a bit of cliches and things that are easy to see coming from a mile away but it doesn't change the fact that when it gets good, it gets good. Also the animation is phenomenal and I'm not saying this show is cliched or that it's predictable as a show. 9.8/10.
Religiousness destroys Emotionality.

Why should I be sad when the deceased live on in another "dimension" afterwards? It would be much better if the scenes that show an afterlife didn't exist at all.
The emotional potential of this series is ruined by these religious moements. What a shame.

This episode made me feel something i didn't think i was still capable of, an unbelievable sadness for losing a fictional character. And the worse part is that i follow the manga and already knew what was going to happen, but that didn't stopped me from feeling this way, kudos to the studio, you're making a masterpiece.
Thanks Japan
