After being captured by the Seven Stars, Makina does battle with the demented Hokuto. Ouri senses her danger, but his rescue attempt is derailed by a revelation concerning his own tragic past.
Akasha is surprised by the strong bond between Shikabane Hime and their contracted monks, and Makina realizes that she desperately wants to continue fighting side by side with Ouri.
