Weak finale to the Season 6 storylines
berndschuller17 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
After the very strong 7x02, this episode was very much a letdown, weakly written and not at all convincing, even taking into account that they had some things like Ralph they needed to wrap up. Something positive first: there were a few fun moments and good scenes. But then there were the bad parts: Eva went from all out supervillain to a meek ally in the span of minutes, thanks to a brief pep talk from Iris. She then disappeared without consequences for her actions including multiple homicide. Barry got his speed back in a way that was completely pulled out of thin air and a total cringe fest. OG Wells was inconsequential. The episode ended with some sort of cliff hanger hinting at speed force being distributed to various points in the city. All in all, a rather weak episode, I hope the show finds its paces again now that the "real" season 7 can start.

Some great characters in a poorly written episode
FranTesla17 March 2021
Poorly written, an insult to Ralph, Eva McCulloch is a great character and totally underused, and even if I love Harrison Wells I expected more, maybe he rejoining the team or helping in some capacity going forward, and for the love of love... this is the Flash show... he has to be the solid ground on which everything else is founded, some good intentions, but missing the target, the previous episode, ep2, was the best of the season so far, one more thing, science fiction, is as much science as fiction, you cannot plot away anything you like, if there is no consistency, there is no challenge... anyway do better, please

This is what this show has become
Brandonrowe1417 March 2021
When I first started watching "The Flash," I was skeptical that it would work, but the talent of this team in the first season really won me over. Every year since has been worse than before.

This show is just a meme of mediocrity now and I don't know why I continue to watch it.

Warning: Spoilers
I liked that he got is speed back and all, but Iris is doing way too much. Like the whole 'we are the flash' and 'Iris is the only reason I'm the pentagon of love' is just way too much. I'm starting to almost hate her, like I want to see more Barry Allen, not Iris.

Wow, the writing in this episode was abysmal
JuanSolo017 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This show has always been one of my favourite superhero shows and avoided as much wokeness that Supergirl and Batwoman had.

However, this last episode was absolutely atrocious in this episode, ignored the science and went with love which was super lame and terribly written. The episode was really cringe too. They had all that extra time to write the episode with coronavirus and they came up with this?

This was a terrible way to end the episode. Barry is supposed to be the hero...NOT IRIS

Great series
greza-5228218 March 2021
I was really impressed when Harrison Wells came back A question arose for me: when Barry Allen picked up speed, he was taking it back; What was Harrison Wells looking at? And one request I have from the writer and director is: Please bring the reverse flash in different parts and make Harrison Wells a member of the Flash team.

Science Fiction turning into Love Based Science Fiction
someonesomething-8612817 March 2021
With the last episode there was some hope that this season could turn out to be better than last two season. But the show creators have proved us wrong. Even though Science Fiction as the name suggests is not real but they have managed to explain Science Fiction with such illogical things as there is no meaning left for the word exaggeration.

They have managed to connect the Love between Barry and Iris and his link with the speed force and that Speed Force is in Iris so seamlessly that I wonder they have proved every storyline in their earlier seasons wrong.

The relationship between Barry and iris has become the central part of the Show so much that even every single Science Fiction thing is connected with it. This doesn't feel like a DC show anymore. The could have left the Paragon of Love and crisis storyline in the last season itself. There is no consistency and attraction for the viewers left anymore.

Hoping that they would do better after this Eva McCulloch storyline.

Decent end to S6
ldamena17 March 2021
I was expecting less but there was some stuff that I enjoyed. Like Barry getting his speed back and how Iris fit into that, ridiculous as it may have been. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the whole Barry never has to deal with the consequences. Sure Artificial speed force and all but this isn't the only time he's gotten away with it and frankly I'm tired. Also I'mm glad the Mirrorverse saga is finally done, now we can move on to other storylines.

Anticlimatic and bad writing, no more to say
juanmaprior17 March 2021
Probably this is the worst season finale I have ever seen since Arrow S4, if we get into account this chapter was going to be the original S6 ending. Not only because all the Speedforce thing about being resurrected by Iris' love, but also how fast Eva's been defeated in a only single one episode, and the pathetic way they take Ralph of the show... He deserves so much better. Anyway, generally this season has been characterized by good ideas but with a poor and unprofessional development, and we can all be agree about the Iris' excessive focus, is a big problem because we are watching THE FLASH show, NOT the Iris one. I really hope the original S7 to be much better, because they could make a pretty good season if all the chapters were like the last week one.

OG WELLS AND A FLASHTASTIC FINALE
lukewharris-1333516 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Ok, so I know I said last weeks episode was really good. BUT HOLY MOTHER OF BATMAN WAS THIS EPISODE AWESOME! OG wells is back which was such a good scene, and flash FINALLY got his speed back, I hope for good this time...

To mark the end of what was season 6, this episode really hit the mark. The reunion of Iris and Barry with a season 1 callback with the blue lightning was really well done. The pairing of Chester, Allegra, Cisco and Caitlyn all at once worked suprisingly well.

The question is now, are we really gonna get the new Wells? Or will he be taken over by something else, perhaps, well I don't know, Eobard Thawne?!!!

This episode was so schway my dudes, smash 10/10 for me :)

ugh...so much ugh.
xaos2317 March 2021
So this Mirror Monarch storyline really crashed and burned with this 3 episode wrap up to last season. Been a big fan of the show since day one, but this episode really made me wonder if we just watched The Flash jump the shark. I don't think I can think of one redeeming thing about it and I'm really trying. Even the shots of Barry running getting his recharge with his bangs flopping back and forth made me cringe. I try not to be a hater, but wow with this one.

One of the worst episodes of The Flash
ComicBookNerd2625 July 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Wow. Where to even begin.....after the amazing last 2 episodes this was just a massive disappointment. The writers were on something while writing this because the power of love was used wayyyyy too much in this episode. Don't even get me started about how they wrote out Ralph.... HE'S LITERALLY THE EASIEST CHARACTER TO WRITE OUT. If you ever want an example of a low point of the show look no further.

Weak because of Covid
aclarehansen19 March 2021
The episode wasnt the greatest however this was due to Covid and the actor of Ralph being fired. This made the writers take an odd approach to his character was written. Even though the episode felt sloppy it had a few good moments.

I aren't write reviews but this episode made no sense! Speed force being created by love? Are you kidding me? A few good moments were there, OG Harrison Wells coming back for instance. Apart from that, an overall pathetic episode.

Warning: Spoilers
Episode 3: Lame jock of an episode with just average CGI, semi-emotional acting and semi-emotional score and music. Like a rabbit resting and eating chocolate pudding coated carrots.

what happened to the best superhero show in TV?
juakohawk17 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
What an horrible episode, but where to begin? I was excited that they found a way to bring back one last Wells, the OG Wells, last episode, but the explanation and the "reunion scenes" were soo bad. OG Wells should've been more shook up about being literally resurrected after so many years, and they should've referenced more stuff from Season 1, about if Cisco knew him before Thawn or something. Either way, this Wells, with all the knowledge of the previous Wells, did absolutely nothing to help, and then he is a time traveller (?)(?).

And what the hell did they did with the speed force? it just wasn't dead? it was inside Iris? WTF, at least explain it a little better, like the reason the speed force died was because Iris was away from Barry for too long or something, but they just pulled an explanation right out of their asses.

And finally, Eva, a character that was going well with all the existential crisis from not being the original one, only to make her in one episode a crazy psycopath dictator and, one second later, an empath with the power to rewind everything to where it was, and they let her free as nothing had happened and their powers weren't such a big threat.

pd: Elongated Man was the easiest character to recast and they invented some stupid stuff about melting down and wearing a helmet

Love saved the speed force
RahulM00717 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The intended season finale of season 6 was jam packed with action, emotion and a bunch of interesting and unexpected twists. It concluded the Mirror Mistress storyline in a satisfying and appropriate way. Mirror Mistress became one of the best non-speedster villains the show had, even though there were times where her storyline felt dragged out and pointless.

The speed force was reborn so to speak. Barry figured out that Iris is the key to regaining his speed back. It was tremendously gut wrenching and emotional when WestAllen flashbacks came back to him, whilst literally running towards love. It is scenes like these that makes me love the episode and the Flash in general. The visual effects and Grant Gustin's acting are astounding and cannot be topped. This was hands down the best scene of the episode. Hopefully Kid Flash also got his speed back. I am guessing that this is a permanent fix, and that Barry will not lose his speed again.

The ending revealed that when Barry regained his speed, it also created new speedsters with different lightning colour schemes. Could season 7 introduce a proper Flash family?

It does feel like Nash's death is less impactful now. He literally sacrificed himself to power up the artificial speed force. That only lasted for one episode, until Barry destroyed it and came up with a new solution. I wonder which character Tom Cavanagh will portray next. He is still billed as a series regular, so I am guessing a new version of Harrison Wells will appear from the new multiverse.

It was a blast to have the original Harrison Wells back this episode, but his presence felt to be kind of confusing and pointless. He did not really add anything to the overall plot, but I am still glad that he appeared. Why would he be introduced, just to be written off again? I thought that this version would be a mirror duplicate, but the Flash writers made this theory obsolete. :)

I do not know what to make of Sue and Ralph's return in this episode. It felt forced and sudden how they departed the show. Obviously Hartley Sawyer was fired, but the way they ended his story was abrupt and did not need to be there. This was the most forgettable scene in the entirety of the episode. But it did not ruin the episode in any way for me.

To conclude, the Flash is on a roll and continues to impress me. I don't think that will ever change. This episode caps off the Mirror Mistress storyline in a fitting and emotional way. I felt a gust of emotions when Barry, Iris and Eva worked together and stopped the mirror duplicates from wrecking havoc. While this episode is not as top tier as the season 1 and 2 finales, it still amazed me in every possible way.

Final verdict: 9.4/10

Worthless
ahmedhomer17 March 2021
As much as i loved the show and couldn't miss any episode before, now it feels like a low badget fan made series, i mean come on ! Nothing is good about it. And what's about the power of love ?? I mean its okay to have that but just dont make it a romantic show, its a comic book show for God's sake... and the action and fight scenes are stupid and kinda funny. But what irritates me the most is the scenario, they have got to either cancel the show because it got ridiculous or get new director and whole new crew, the cast are good exept for that iris that i couldn't bare since season 2

A normal end, A Good Start
North_Eagle17 March 2021
I think if we see this episode as an end to previous season cause to early end, this episode as final episode is Good but it could be better. it might have more challenging situation for characters. But the good point is, it is a smart start to new season

What even is this show anymore...
nielsv-5586917 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This episode was just complete nonsence. The overly boring plot was finally shoved out of the show in one episode and man what a rollercoaster of nonsence. The Dumb connection with Barry being the Pandagon of Love which connected to Iris and made the speedforce alive again? WHAT. This show just shoves in so much nonsense with simply the characters giving some lazy explanation and suddenly it all makes sense. Even Well's return was just useless and dissapointing. The explanation of how he returned was complete nonsense . Was it so hard to let Carlos Valdes and Daniella Panabaker show up for the premiere of the season to say goodbye? It was forced aswell but a lot more satisfying than Wells returning AGAIN and just saying he can travel in time somehow and going away by magic. Having shows like The Boys & The Mandalorian, this feels like some walmart show. The stupid basic dumb "its over (name of villain)" is just so dumb and unnecessary. There is no point to these terribly cringy lines and they're so outdated at this point. The show keeps hitting the same beats and every time its done more poorly and it becomes so old and really makes my eyes role everytime a dumb same predictable beat comes along. I really loved this show when it started even tho it was cringy at times it was atleast still good. This and so much more nonsence was in this episode and i don't want to waste my time on writing it. This episode was just truly terrible, even film students know the show don't tell rule and yet these writers here just say out loud how everyone feels yeah truly great. As if the audience are all so dumb they can't think for themselves. The writers got extra time thanks to the worldwide pandemic and yet delivered worse than i ever thought the show could do. This is probably due to Batwoman as the fans of that show obviously needed a second season so badly because the first season was sooo good.

Just rename the show already The Iris west show featuring the flash and gang
nickaroo-3230920 March 2021
In this episode iris west again can do whatever she wants LITERALLY and her team featuring the flash Cisco Ramon frost and the rest of the crew . The team needs the key piece to getting the speed force back and defeating the big bad villain that can't be stopped but don't worry about the actual comic or future timeline that's supposed to be in order, iris west no matter what is the answer to everything she can do it all no matter what she's faster than the flash ( referring to the episode she became a speedster and mastered the speed force powers and she showed up Barry Allen on cue even though it took Barry years to figure out ) she's more powerful than the villain that no one can beat with their own villain powers if you got powers that has taken you months and years to perfect iris west can master those powers the exact moment she gets them and out power you on cue etc. just tired of it already oh and Harrison wells is never dying again because he's pretty much a god now I'm just tired of this show already
