- As Eva becomes more powerful, Barry and team must find a way to stop her; an old friend risks her life to help.
- Eva launches an invasion from the Mirrorverse, and Barry can only stop her if he regains his speed. Meanwhile, Harrison Wells, Sue, and Ralph come back, and Joe has to choose whether to follow Cecile into the Mirrorverse or go on without her.—Gislef
- Cisco, Frost, and Allegra wake up and see Barry kneeling by Iris. Grabbing his gun, Cisco calls to Barry. Barry begs Cisco to help her as she convulses.
Later in the medbay, Caitlin checks the unconscious Iris, as Barry and Cisco look on. Caitlin tells them that when Barry pulled Iris out of the Mirrorverse, it created an electrical anomaly that destroyed the neural pathways in her brain. Caitlin doesn't know anything they can do for Iris except let her rest. Barry says that he remembers, including hurting the others and forcing Iris out of the Mirrorverse, while leaving Kamilla and Singh trapped there. Cisco insists that Barry wasn't himself, and they'll work as a team to save Iris, Kamilla, and Singh. Barry says that they can't save Iris without his speed, and he's not going to use the AFS because artificial means like Thawne uses don't work for him, but the Speed Force is dead.
At the station, police are taking calls from citizens throughout the city that they're encountering duplicates. Richard and Penelope Dearbon come in and tell Joe that they want to help bring in their daughter Sue so he can arrest her. Officer Kober comes in and asks to talk to him privately. Once they're alone, Sue pulls off her Krober mask and says that Ralph is tracking a lead. She says that her parents aren't her parents, and Joe says that the station has received called from other citizens saying the same thing. As Joe realizes what's happening, a pair of mirrored arms reach out from the reflective surface of a nearby glass. Joe and Sue avoid them.
At STAR Labs, Chester returns from his trip and the team watches newscasts about the chaos breaking out in the city. Chester says that a pair of arms reached out to him from the counter at Jitters. Cisco confirms from the earlier studio footage that Eva can now manipulate any mirrored service. As Cisco goes to warn Joe, Barry figures that Eva is conducting a full-blown invasion.
Allegra goes to the medbay and tells the unconscious Iris that she has to get better. She says that they're giving up on Iris, and she and Barry are stronger together. Allegra tells Iris that what they have is amazing.
Cisco comes back and tells the others that the mayor is shutting down the power, but it won't be 100%. He puts shutters on all STAR Labs window, and Chester figure that they need to cover the mirrors and turns off the lights. Barry wishes he had his speed so he could save all of the citizens and get Iris back. He hears iris whispering from the reflection in the window, saying that there is.
The others notice a few seconds later that Barry has disappeared.
Barry appears in Eva's duplicate office in the Mirrorverse. Mirror Master is there, and she says that they all need to go back to where they belong in the Mirrorverse. Since she's watched people in the real world destroy the planet, so she's going to replace them and they'll restore the planet. Mirror Master insists that she'll be a mother to her mirror "children", and tells Barry that he should lead his people to the Mirrorverse.
When Barry questions Mirror Master, she angrily tells him to stop fighting her. She asks if he'd do whatever it takes to save humanity, and can use her reflective chip technology to end starvation. Mirror Master asks why Barry hasn't made the world a better place, and tells him that he can't be she will. She says that she's something better than human, and is showing Barry mercy. Mirror Master asks Barry to consider her offer and make the right choice.
In the teal-world lab, Frost takes Caitlin's body while Chester finds Barry via satellite. Barry returns and tells the others about Eva's offer, and figures that Eva is right and they can't win. He goes alone to the lounge, and Harrison appears in front of him and says that he's the original Dr. Harrison Wells. Barry says that the other Wells died with Nash, and Harrison explains that he transferred the multiversal particles of all the other Wells into the fusion sphere... except him.
Harrison figures that the universe required a balancing act: one Wells to make up for all of those lost. Barry says that Harrison was the one he wanted to meet the most, and introduces himself. Harrison has all of the memories of the other Wells, and asks to help them because the other Wells would want him to. Barry says that their enemy is all-powerful and his speed is gone. Harrison tells him that it takes a once-in-a-lifetime hero to save the world with his heart. He tells Barry to run... toward love.
Allegra comes in and sees Harrison, and thinks he's Nash. She hugs Harrison, and he tells her that Nash thought highly of him. The others come in and Harrison says that he's the original Wells.
At the station, Cecile tells Joe that she's had Allegra put out an e-blast to warn the city about Eva. Joe notices that one window is cracked open and all of the other officers is gone. Cecile feels an overwhelming sense of passion, confidence, and focus. "Kramer" appears, and Joe and Cecile run out of the office as Eva-in-Kramer comes after them. Joe and Cecile run to Barry's lab and lock the door. Eva has blocked the phone signals, and they realize that all of the windows are exposed.
Harrison tries to explain how he got there without success. Sue and Ralph arrive, and Ralph is melted to near-incoherence by a bomb that went off encountered at McCulloch Lab where he was trying to find evidence to clear Sue. He gave her a drive. Cisco and Sue take Ralph to a containment unit, while Chester confirms that the drive has video evidence clearing Sue.
In the medbay, Barry holds Iris' hand and tells her that he'll never stop trying to reach her. He says that he's only the Paragon of Love because Iris is his heart. Barry touches Iris' hand, there's a spark of lightning, and Iris opens her eyes briefly.
Barry finds the others and tells them that she felt a spark from Iris. Since the Speed Force is a fundamental part of the universe, it couldn't disappear entirely. Barry figures that his love with Iris is just as strong as the Speed Force. Cisco figures they use the ASF to process into a natural source of the Speed Force, and they go to work on it.
Mirror Master stands atop the building and controls her "children". People panic in the strength as their duplicate attack them.
The Mirror Kramer tries to break through the door, and Joe opens a grille on the building's original ductwork. Her sends Cecile through and tells her to kiss Jenna for him.
The team completes rewiring the AFS, and Harrison warns that every atom in Flash's body will be split in two. Iris walks in and touches the AFS, says "We need you", and Barry goes into the pipeline and starts running. He speeds up, remembering his love for Iris and others, and the AFS reaches 100% organic speed. The energy goes in pipeline, and Barry, and he dons his Flash costume and speeds back to the others.
Iris tells Barry that she knew he'd find his way back to her. They hug and Barry says that Iris will always be his lightning rod.
Mirror Master confronts two fleeing citizens, and tells them that they're going somewhere better. Flash arrives and speed them away, and Mirror Master tells him to face the consequences now that he's made his choice.,
Back at the lab, the others realize that Mirror Master is faster because of how Barry recovered his speed.
Kramer breaks into the lab, and Joe prepares to shoot her. When the door falls down, there's nothing behind it. Joe moves forward, and Cecile appears behind him. He realizes that it's a duplicate, which admits that Cecile is close and there's only one way for Joe to be with her. Joe asks why he should trust her, and "Cecile" tells him that he has no choice. Joe lowers his gun.
Mirror Master tells Flash that they could have worked together, but now her children are taking over the world. She aims her gun at Flash, and Cisco arrives behind her in costume, and uses a sonic projector to blast Mirror Master down. Frost steps out, and Flash joins her teammates and grabs Mirror Master's gun on the way past.
Unimpressed, Mirror Master summons an army of duplicates. They all aim their guns and advance, and Flash speeds through them, avoiding their blasts and knocking them out. Cisco and Frost attack the remainder, but Cisco's blaster jams. He can't clear them, and Frost and Cisco attack the duplicates hand-to-hand.
Iris figures that Barry needs more than speed to win the fight.
Barry runs to the top of a nearby building. The other duplicate arrive and he blasts them, but when he turns to street level, more duplicates blast him down. Iris arrives and tells Mirror Master that she's destroying the world she wants to save. Mirror Master tells her duplicates to join the others, and she throws a cloud of glass shards at Iris.
Iris stops them with her own powers from the Mirrorverse, and tells Mirror Master that she's using brutal force against defenseless people. She explains that her duplicate was connected to the Mirrorverse and the other "children", and they were filled with hate. Iris asks Mirror Master if the peace her children are spreading is what she intends.
The portal opens in one of the windows, and Joe starts to step through.
Iris asks Mirror Master if what's happening is what she wants. Flash recovers , but Iris tells him to stay back. Mirror Master says that she wanted to make thing better, but she failed two worlds. Flash tells her that it's never too late to help people, and she can help people by ending the invasion. Mirror Master tries to take control of her duplicates, but fails and says that they've grown too strong for her to control.
Iris and Flash take Eva's hands and loan her their willpower. Together the three of them send out a wave of energy that reduces the duplicates to mirror shards.
In the lab, hand reaches out for Joe from the window... and then it disappears as the duplicate Cecile shatters.
Frost wonders about the people they've lost, and Eva brings them, Kamilla, and Singh back through the mirrors in the city. Singh returns to the lab, and tells the restored Kramer that they owe their lives to Flash... and his better half.
Cecile returns, and she and Joe hug.
Kamilla calls Cisco and tells him that she's back. Cisco tells Kamilla that he loves her, and Frost takes him to the Citizen where Kamilla is at. Iris asks Mirror Master what she's going to do, and she says that she's going to go to the Mirrorverse, and start over creating her children with love, not hate, so they can choose their own path. Flash wishes her luck, and Mirror Master nods to him and disappears.
The next day at STAR Labs, Chester use the satellites to confirm that Eva is back in the Mirrorverse. They figure that when Eva went back to the Mirrorverse, it severed Iris' link and stripped her of her powers.
In the time vault, Harrison tells Cisco and Allegra that he's going. Allegra says that she needs someone to train her, and Harrison says that she has her own wavelength to follow and so does he. He can travel to any moment he wants in the timeline, and plans to share it with his wife Tess in the four years before they both died in the car crash. He plans to relive the four years they had together over and over.
Allegra wishes Harrison good lock, and he wishes her good luck. Cisco hopes that he has the same depth of feeling that Harrison has for Tess, and Harrison tells him that he will. They both point out that it's weird since they never actually knew, and they shake hands. Harrison displays in a cloud of green energy.
Later, Allegra and a containment suited-Ralph join the others. Sue is with them, and everyone figures that they should celebrate. Caitlin suggests Sue join Team Flash, but Sue says that she's no hero, and she and Ralph have to deal with the remnants of Black Hole. Ralph and Sue leave,
Earlier, when Barry regained his speed from Iris, some of the energy was released into the sky and split up into four different-colored bursts
