Warning: Spoilers
I love silent witness and liked this episode too.

But Why are they always so slow to figure out Marrow transplant.

And how come the most remote village in Africa just also happen to be next door to a massive chemical factory ??? Bonkers.

To pinch a line from Grantchester, what the Dickens???

I had a review all planned out in my head, but after that ending, everything went out of the window, I wasn't expecting that, I won't spoil it for anyone, but once again they know how to shock, surprise and totally keep the viewer gripped.

A wonderful Adam story, for me he was the best one in it, how character has developed very quickly, his interactions with Jack were excellent.

The story was pretty complex for the most part, more jargon and technical terms than an addition of the Lancet. It gets easier to understand as it progresses, the identity of the villain wasn't exactly hard to spot, but the final act came out of nowhere.

Great acting as always, thoroughly enjoyed it, 8/10.

Fantastic Series

I have watched Silent Witness only since Nikki has been the lead and totally love the show. There are no words of how brilliant Emilia's acting is and I am loving the connection growing between Jack and Nikki. The acting by all characters is incredible. I was crying my eyes out when Adam died. I was hoping he would be saved. Beyond excellent script writing. The British produce the very very very best drama. And i am not British. I wait each week for episodes.

The story line was brilliant. Keeps the viewer guessing all the way. There is such intelligence in the writing of every episode and this one is no different.

Unfair Low Rates
retina_scan27 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I'm surprised to see such low rates and so many people saying this story was 'predictable'. Yes, the final culprit may have been the easy guess, but the journey getting there was full of twists and turns that I, a devout crime drama watcher, could not see coming'

Adam started developing great as a character and the actor did a great job. At last we see a member of the team whose ethics and professionalism may be rather dubious - SW had never done this before and, well, you know, such people do exist?

But the ending was an utter shock! I wonder if this is why people rate the episode so low. Why did they kill the character off so quickly? Something must have happened behind the scenes, it didn't seem as if they were planning to get rid of him so soon. A real pity!

Extremely predictable

Warning: Spoilers
Who the murderer was became obvious the second you saw the character - rich white doctor in a suit played by Farrell..? Of course it's him. I kept some slight hope that the character was there to be misleading but no, no surprise at all there.

And then, at the end, after having confronted the murderer in a dark street and had him confess - Adam calls the others while turning his back on the murderer! Of course he'll get himself killed.

Love Silent witness but this was very sloppy and cliche.

Ten Stars for Adam
letess24 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Why on earth would they introduce the new guy - Adam - an engaging, charming, magnetic character - and then off him in two episodes. You knew there had to be some replacement for the team as two huge leads exited the last season. But this guy was fantastic - there have been leads that lasted many seasons that didn't have his personality. I don't get it. Was this intentional? Was there any long-term planning here - because where you could replace the last two leads with Adam, now you can't replace Adam.

Oh dear

Warning: Spoilers
Starting to think 24 seasons might be enough. The usual format, including the increasingly unbelievable relationship between police and main characters. A denouement involved the newest (and actually quite interesting) character being killed off, as he turns his back on the newly identified murderer to make a phone call. The baddy thoughtfully revs his car up (to alert his victim?) before running him over. I think we're done.

Worst ending to a silent witness storyline
blondebuffi22 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
What a joke! Adam would never have died within minutes of being run down at 10 miles an hour. Lazy script writing in my opinion. What a waste of a new character. This whole storyline was convoluted and purposeless. I always look forward to silent witness, it's one of my favourite tv shows and I just feel short changed.
