A personal POV of the beginning of the pandemic that is downright nostalgic.

A heartwarming finale for one of the most under appreciated shows on tv rn.

We've seen the landlord and her relatiosnhip with John. This episode highlights why we all need someone who is important and dear in our lifes. I hope to see a new season soon. I also wish John and his cat the best of luck in life.
Delightful

A delightful finale to a wonderful season. I've never seen a show like this before and enjoyed it from start to finish. I didn't even realize I was watching the finale and was disappointed the season was over so soon.
I can't wait until season 2!

I've never really taken to the How to with John Wilson Mockumentaries. It is well done but given the range of subjects he examines. Some have been more average than others.
How to Cook the Perfect Risotto was as the title suggest did not sound too riveting. As it went along it began to be inedible.
John wants to cook Risotto for his elderly landlady who looks after him. Cooking cleaning and the laundry.
Pretty soon the subject meanders to vaping, smoke pollution and why do a bag of crisps/chips look so expanded in skiing resorts. Something to do with the altitude.
Made in 2020, the final show of the series takes a left turn as the Coronavirus hits. Then it becomes a historical document as John himself is affected by lockdown. All of a sudden New York looks empty. People are wearing masks and social distancing.
John wonders how the world will look once this is over. I'm sure the Covid bits were inserted during post production to help give it a current flavour. At least it did not shy away from it.
