Sex & Nudity

  • There is much dialogue about love affairs, sex, desire, sexual innuendo, and sex puns. There is a visual pun where the TV reporter stands in front of the spa, the sign of which reads "gay hot spa" due to the fact that it is missing some letters. A woman in the confessional reports to the priest about her loud sex with her husband, asking for forgiveness.
  • In amidst several sex scenes around 1h 15min, we see an attractive woman's round backside. The camera gets fairly close, and her rear end fills the screen for five or six seconds. This is presumably to show an imprint of an object on one bum cheek for humour, but is quite graphic.
  • Some women go through some lingerie.
  • A man looks at a dirty magazine. Brief nudity is shown.
  • A man walks upstairs to the bedroom fully nude, implying sex. Full rear nudity is shown.
  • At the same time in two different locations, two male/female couples are shown to be having sex. A young man has a sex dream about the woman with whom he is in love; he wakes up to the sound of his parents making love in another room. In the dream, standing nude, she invites him into her home and they have sex in the bathtub. Nudity involves bare breasts, bare chest, and female full rear nudity. Sex also involves sex on a table, women on top sex, as well as fellatio.

Violence & Gore

  • At the very start of the movie, a man jumps off a cliff; it is assumed he kills himself.
  • Some men hijack a vehicle and steal Viagra from it. They threaten the drivers but only with a wooden gun and no one is hurt.

Profanity

  • Three misuses of 'Jesus', including one from a Catholic priest, one of 'Christ', one of 'Holy Jesus', one of 'Holy mother of God', one of 'sweet Jesus', one of 'God', and one of 'Jesus hopping Christ'.
  • Many uses of the Irish (and other Gaelic cultures) curse word 'feck', which to those in the know is a milder curse-word than fuck, without sexual connotations. Can also mean (in Ireland) to throw or steal. One character explains that it is a milder word than 'f-u-c-k', and then noticeably uses fuck when he drops something important. To those unfamiliar with 'feck' though, this may seem like half a dozen f-bombs a minute in places.
  • Some swearing, mostly "fuck".

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Lots of drinking.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • Lots of sexual discussion. In particular, the story surrounds a group of men who stash stolen Viagra in a well that proceeds to dissolve into the water supply, which causes the entire town to become aroused after drinking it for a few days. Quite a few references to erections.
