Historically accurate and a must see prior to, or perhaps even after the forthcoming HBO Mini Series; Show Me A Hero.

Me and my still sustained to this present day most esteemed childhood friends are basically constituents and progeny from most every race, nationality and/or creed. At that most lamentable period in Yonkers history; we were entirely oblivious to the basal premise to all of the strife and nonsensical drama, simply because we were all having way too much fun enjoying our good times, loyal friendships and total confidence in absolute reliance we had with one another.

But after seeing this documentary; I am ashamed of myself for being so ambivalent as well as totally indifferent to what was causing all the raucous. My close knit group of Grammar School through High School crew; could have quite possibly dispelled a substantiatve portion of all or some of rampant ignorance and apprehension of our elder mentors, stubborn parents and perhaps some of the initially defiant politicians alike.

Then again, maybe we wouldn't have been able to have made a single iota of difference at all.

But I feel more remorse for all of those most audaciously brazen and vocal citizens, that are now perpetually captured and immortalized on the audio and film. If I were any of them; I would be absolutely mortified.

Yesterday is gone. So, let's just all continue to move forward.
