Zhanna argues with social services that threaten to take her son away. Sveta spends time with Anton. Marina looks for work and gets a job. She also meets Kostya, the father of Zhanna's son. They can't hide their feelings for one another.
Zhanna, Marina, Sveta, and Lyuda rent premises for their future gym, and begin to fix the place up and recruit staff. Marina's mother, with whom she has a complicated relationship, comes over from Moscow.
A fight with father-in-law brings Danila to Cossack elders. Lyuda is in hospital after attack on the store. Zhanna is at the police station, suspected of setting fire to Marik the thug's auto repair center. Will she keep her freedom?
Zhanna, Marina, Sveta, and Lyuda go to the region's main city to visit a large gym and see how things work there. The trip proves useful and exciting. Meanwhile, Valera sends his nephew Danila to tell the girls how much they owe him.
In an effort to find money for her business, Zhanna mortgage her house and attempts to sell her car. Sveta sells her fur coat, and Lyuda asks her father for money. Girls tell Valera, their pimp, that they quit. He doesn't want them go.
Zhanna defends her son's right to take part in a school concert. Sveta can't get over losing her baby, but Anton, a former prisoner who applied for a job at the gym, cheers her up. Lyuda gets a job at a store, her personal life is a mess.
Sveta, Marina, and Lyuda, prostitutes working at a roadside kebab joint, get picked up by the police. Their friend Zhanna who went away to Moscow and is back springs them out. She wants to start her own business and open a gym.
