Sue-Ellen and the Brainasaurus is brilliant

Group projects need to be done away with. We all hated doing them in school, so why keep doing them because one person just ends up doing the work, and no one else learns anything but the one person doing all the work. But then again, this episode of Arthur was oddly a head of it's time in pointing out the real reason why group projects were bad, because the person doing all the work was a huge perfectionist and control freak who knew nothing about being on a team. Weirdly enough this episode of Arthur holds up brilliantly in my opinion, because the idea of "one person doing all the work and not letting anyone help, even if they want to", is a problem that I see more in older adults then I do children. Granted I don't hang around kids. But I watched this episode as a child and it helped me in my team work skills, while at the same time people like my dad were behaving more like Brain when it came to working together. No seriously, my dad is not a team player, but I guarantee that if you show this episode to your children, it will teach them a lesson on teamwork, and why it's never a good to work with someone who doesn't see what you can offer. I feel like my dad should have watched this episode more, then he would have been a team player.
