There's a lot going on in this episode yet oddly it feels like not a lot happens. As predicted, the council compensation case is resolved (off screen)faster than any case in legal history.Toadie is chosen as Chloe's godfather.Rosie finds out about Marco.Rebecca finds out about Oliver and Mia.Harold finds out about Lou.Libby and Dan find out about each other.Yet the episode still ends on a stalling tactic as Harold backs out of his deal with Marco.
The choice of Toadie as godfather seems a bit odd, given it's not that long since he was saying he never wanted children. The reasons given are somewhat spurious-Frazer and Declan are already part of the family yet Rosie is as well and she's godmother.Rosie seems a bit bullish when pressuring Carmella about Marco but being pregnant does make her seem very cute.
Libby and Dan actually seem like a good couple for once, with Kym Valentine putting in a good nervy performance in the scene where Dan forces her to confront her feelings. It's a bit odd to see Rachel and Bridget calmly standing together so soon after they've fallen out though.
