It's clear they wanted to make him a hero. How they did it was too stupid to count. First, how many firefighters got lost in that building? At some point, someone should have thought to tie a rope to the outside world and follow it in so they can't get lost. Second of all, why couldn't someone stand on the side of the building and tie a rope so they caught him when he fell? Since when can firemen not tie knots. Seriously, I spent the entire episode screaming at the screen and haven't watched an episode since. This fake melodrama
didn't do it for me.

Unreal firefighter actions
jordigoma28 June 2021
Warning: Spoilers
One of the worst episodes of station 19, at least by a firefighting point of view. So unreal, you don't go into an unknown building on fire without a lifeline, like Sullivan does at the last moment.
So many flaws in the script, no one who have worked as a firefighter can believe a call like that.
