Action packed nail-biting movie .Great acting keith mason top shelf ready for the big leagues ! Young director hits a home run 1st time at Bat ....Great soundtrack...Everyone did a great job congratulations..MUST SEE!!!

A Gritty Crime Drama

Few film get an audience with a 'big jump' (think Jaws)...Thierry Chavrimootoo manages this several times throughout this gritty Yorkshire drama.

It's a film made by someone who clearly loves films, the confidence in the directing is that of a seasoned pro, not that of someone new to the industry. Mason should also be highly commended for his first leading man role as DCI Sullivan.

From start to finish this film hits hard, great story line and acting throughout and great to see some new faces in British films. If you're going to watch a film this year make it this one.

I attended the Premier, not knowing what to expect but i throughly enjoyed the film, knowing it was produced on a zero budget shocked me, my favourite parts was where the head smashed in with a hammer, it wasnt real ok. The ending was a brilliant twist as well, but three main aspects which jumped out, the Director is a mordern day Hitchcock, same style with a twist. The baddy, played his roll well as in real life most murders try to justify their actions & latch on to someone, this time it was Keith Mason, playing a troubled washed up Detective. As a Priest ive encounteted many situations, for me Keith Mason played his roll brilliantly, a young Roger Moore. The Future is bright for all these actors & it was a pleasure to meet them all personally.

Great film and soundtrack to accompany it, as a first time lead roll I thought it was acted really well and directed.

Well done all involved, the cast and crew played each part with conviction and detail.

If this is the standard of Keith's first film then the rest will only get better and better as he gains more experience in lead rolls.

Excellent film. Full of grit & suspense. Keith Mason was amazing in the film & did the lead character justice. He carried the film very well. I'm looking forward to seeing the next in the saga of DCI Jack Sullivan.

The writing was brilliant & very well directed by Thierry Chavrimootoo. Super talented for a young up & coming director.

The chemistry between director & lead actor was magic!

Quality, gritty British crime thriller

My wife and I attended the premiere. What an event! We absolutely loved the movie and can't wait to see the next one!

DCI Jack Sullivan was amazing and the serial killer played an excellent part.

Congratulations and well done to everyone who played a part in the movie.

SUPERB FILM

What a brilliant film. Keith Mason and the rest of the cast have done a great job creating this film. It is very well written and it has you on the edge of your seat throughout.

The story line grips the viewer and has plenty of twists and turns throughout which keep the viewer wanting more.

Really looking forward to seeing the next film and watching Keith's career continue to go from strength to strength.

Well what can I say I was absolutely blown away with this film , the plot the acting and everything was amazing. Keith from rugby star to Actor the transition seemed so effortless I didn't see Keith Mason on the screen I saw Jack Sullivan. Thierry to be able to create such a powerful movie at 20 years old with absolutely no budget you would never know I cannot wait to see the sequel Amazing ... highly recommend xx.

Keith Mason is clearly a natural, a very gifted actor. He plays the intense and believable detective in this raw and emotion driven film. His commitment to the role gives the film momentum. His powerful on screen presence and range of emotions gives the film depth. Keith is supported by an excellent and believable starring cast including James Merrill, Jamie Coulter and Jenna Brough.

The director is a remarkably gifted young talent Thierry Chavrimootoo. His cinematography not only captures the tension of emotions but ranges through to the artistic observation of quiet and silence. I was left thinking of the similarities of this young man with Hitchcock. He has the surprise of graphic violence with the subtlety of quietly creative cinematography. An interesting and rare combination.

The film reaches a tension riddled climax but where will it end? The follow up must be coming at some point soon? I look forward to more from this remarkably dynamic and creative team.

Keith Mason is an outstanding actor and does a magnificent job in this movie. The dark life of his character and the tension of emotions keeps you on the edge of your seat. Fighting his demons as he chases a killer around the city. His chartector is someone we can all relate to in some aspect. All of the cast did a great job with the character. It was a well-written movie that kept you guessing. The director took it toward dark and gritty, which works well with the characters and the storyline. If there will be a part two, I will different watch it. Get your popcorn and take a sit for a mind-twisting movie that will have you wanting more.

Excellent Thriller

The movie is a great "cat and mouse" thriller! Ketih Mason plays a great DCI in the film and his intensity can be felt throughout. The struggles Keith exhibits with drinking and drugs, etc. To cope with his issues are real, his delivery is solid and feels very real! Could he be the next 007... I think so!

The film is a very accurate portrayal of what happens when some become disenfranchised with the way things are and decides to take matters into their own hands... as does our antagonist in this movie. Vigilantes are nothing new but are now seen by some as the "hero"!

The dark ominous music fits well with the lens for which the movie is shot!

A brilliant script that has been well executed!

This was way beyond my expectations!

It was great to attend the premiere.

Super combo of 'a who dunnit' but on a whole different remarkable level!

So much thought has gone into story, script, casting, characters, twist etc.

There's an awesome air of mystery, reality, imagination and musical acumen. Keith and the team are phenomenal actors and all the film components, weave amazingly together! The cast, especially the lead actor brings the whole film to life formidably! A must watch, 'edge of your seat' film! You won't be disappointed! It's definitely not all about Hollywood! Yorkshire's got talent! So proud of this British beauty! Loved the premiere! Can't wait for the next one! 👍💪 Go Imperative!

Such an impressive movie, dark and gripping. The directors storytelling and cinematography was incredible, and his building of intensity was moving and at times delightfully jarring. The soundtrack was wisely chosen for the mood and theme of the narrative, at times pulling at your feelings toward the characters and the image of the dark city in which a vigilante was prowling.

Keith Mason's performance was fresh and new and brought this story alive with his emotional and raw performance. I believe he has a bright future in the movie world and I look forward to watching him grow. His timing and delivery was measured and appropriate for his character's haunting backstory. If you're a fan of Luther and Guy Ritchie you will love this!

Great film, some amazing acting, good storyline. Really enjoyed this one. Definitely worth a watch. The characters are really relatable. Soundtrack is really good.

My wife and me had the pleasure of seeing the premiere of this film. "Edge of your seat stuff" from beginning to end and a credit to all those involved. Plot....magnificent. Acting......superb. Suspense......intense. Truly worth the wait. Truly worth watching. Can't wait for all of the potential follow ups for DVI Jack Sullivan.

I had the privilege of watching Imperative at it's opening premiere.

I was really impressed with the film - the style of filming and musical score all added to the intensity which Thierry Chavrimootoo managed to maintain throughout the film - it was intense, dark and gruesome in places, quite raw. Keith Mason played DCI Jack Sullivan really well and knowing that the film was produced during COVID under trying conditions only adds to the achievement of the whole team.. Really well done!

Honestly ... was a bit sceptical about watching this... another famous person moving over to the acting world.... HOWEVER... I can completely admit I was took by surprise just how I was amazed by this movie... Not only is the movie directed out in a fantastic and captivating way but the main character was played in such a way I was hooked. As an avid thriller/crime fan I can whole heartedly recommend this to people... you won't regret it!!! The struggle of the main character although been seen before is seen in a new perspective and I can guarantee this isn't the last we have seen of him.

I await the next role.... X.

Top class film

Thoroughly enjoyed this film. The acting was top quality and I was on the edge of my seat whilst watching this. I would like to see another film with these actors. I felt the story line was perfect for the actors involved!
