If this show commits to action and play on the ice it can be good. If it doens't properly develop the characters though it won't work.

Lame Changer ep 2
ThunderKing63 April 2021
Its decent. Better then the pilot ep.
The commentary guy gets annoying quickly and the mom continues to be unnatural and annoying. She tries to be funny. Key word is "Tries" to. The Goldberg look alike is depressing as a character.
The ep is about the team having practice and the mom being a lousy coach.
Overall it's decent.
What can be learned? How to steal from the lost in found room.
Verdict: this show was no match for the mighty...

Gordon Bombay Skates Again!
jtw9292 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I think we all kinda knew that the first game they play would go badly. And that's basically what happened in this episode. One of the highlights definitely has to be seeing Bombay take the ice again. We know he still loves hockey and like the first two Ducks movies, this is just character development for Bombay. They're just setting it up for him to fall in love with it again. You can tell when he was watching the game from his office, he wanted to be out there coaching those kids. Another great highlight had to be the last scene. Seeing Evan hit the ice with his teammates following. Gordon giving his nod of approval from the office and the classic theme song playing. Ah...goosebumps. And it's only episode 2. Can't wait for next Friday.
