Run Kalyani is a breezy, patterned story of a young maid who works at two houses for her livelihood and whose final moral is slightly off from what it set out to promise. With a baffling climax, it tries to tell the story of womanhood and its struggles while also shedding light on marital abuse and extra marital affair. It's chaotic but in a very lucid way that does not induce much other than indifference. The lead actor puts up a good show but it is nothing groundbreaking. So is the film that is just an average piece of inconsequential cinema. TN.
