This episode is a perfect example of magnificence of Dragon Ball Z. Brilliant animation, excellent camera-work/choreography, fantastic musical score, impressive voice acting as well as interesting plot/storyline. Awesome!!!

Unique animation style and top notch animation quality serve as a plus, while the seiyuu's voice acting is classy. Masako Nozawa's performance is astounding as the dimensions of Son Goku's perspectives are strikingly different. Norio Wakamoto as Perfect Cell is simply superb! He has the capability of ranging his vocal pitch to various characterizations in which Frieza's arrogance, Vegeta's pride, Piccolo's cunning and Goku's nature of love of fighting were all brought forth to perfection.

This episode is also a highlight as it has some of the best orchestral scores/compositions. Epic scores with soul are in a class of own for originality! Interesting varieties of nostalgic themes are novelty! Overall, top notch!

Akira Toriyama's plot/storyline in terms of presentation is pivotal. TOEI Animations, specifically the Key Animators, Cockpit Studios and Magic House deserve special mentions on the strategic presentation of style and art.
