The town panics when someone blows up ceramic garden gnomes, animals, etc. Seems harmless until one ceramic rabbit explodes, nearly killing a surgeon. Dr. Haas gets a live-in nurse to help him recover from a heart attack.
Sophie gets pinched for driving over the limit DWI, and Dietmar becomes acting Kommissar while she's on desk duty, and naturally a corpse turns up and Dietmar must lead the investigation. Meanwhile Sophie finds out about her father's new love.
