A slow moving episode. The idiosyncrasies of relationships deepen as does the mystery of whom is in hospital.
The strong cast, good writing and realism of the earthy characters keep you watching.
Much of the series is filmed in the sea front but life is no beach.

Who is it? I need to know.

Who is in the Hospital? It's going to take until the last episode for us to learn who it is, I am intrigued, it seems like we're being directed to believe it's Vivien, but I'm not sure.
Imelda Staunton continues to steal the show, she is quite wonderful, her character is so utterly fascinating, even with Vivien facing disaster, the mystery of who's in the hospital, the main interest for me is finding out what Mary's back story is.
The visuals are stunning, if looks so good, some stunning scenery.
It's not the most exciting episode, I get the impression that they're setting it all up for the finale. 7/10
