Some of the scenes with Jo and his "twin" are silly and unnecessary, but the rest of this episode was awesome. Incredible cliffhanger ending!! If this is your first time watching a Korean episodic drama - highly recommend Mr. Sunshine, also on Netflix!! Totally different, but similarly enjoyable - love the Korean style of mixing romance, suspense, drama and music!!

Tae-eul and Gon go to the place where Jung-hye (the missing mom) is on file but it's just a field. Their outfits are beautiful - Tae-eul's is beige and Gon's is dark. I love the vibes.
Gon meets with Eunseob at the bakery and points out the black coat he is wearing that is Yeong's.
Seo-ryung, the prime minister steps in with a beautiful outfit and acknowledges her mom who is putting away side dishes.
Gon and Yeong discuss why Rim brought Shinjae as a child over to this world.
We see Shinjae's flashbacks of Rim approaching him. Rim promises Shinjae to help with finding his mother and he wakes up from a coma to see his crying mom.
Eunseob's discharge from military service is celebrated with meat and the police team ask Tae-eul about Shinjae's absence.
In the kingdom the prime minister is in her beautiful office with wallpaper.
The cellphone that Gon possesses now rings and he speaks. Now both Rim and Gon know of each other's presence in the Republic of Korea. They both destroy their phones.
The prime minister goes to visit her ex who is Chairman Choi in prison. He comments she is wearing the heels with the bows on them that he gave her. He asks the prime minister why she is so ambitious as she has met her dreams of being a spokesperson, marrying a rich person and becoming prime minister. He marvels at her level of ambition. He wonders if she wants to be queen now as he saw the photos of her and Gon together.
Tae-eul advertises for us by ordering from a food delivery app and Gon arrives. They have a date by the river. Tae-eul knows Gon has meetings every Friday in the kingdom and we can see the sadness in her eyes as she knows Gon must leave. Tae-eul is anxious about safety as Gon tells her that Yeong and Eunseob will switch places. She is shaken and they hug firmly and she has tears in her eyes admitting she isn't okay.
At the hotel Yeong is forcing Eunseob to cut his hair shorter. Eunseob cowers.
Ok-nam orders guards to meet Gon in the bamboo forest as ordered from Gon. Gon has brought the restaurant owner with him back to the kingdom tied up. The cool looking female officer and a male officer takes the order of the restaurant owner being locked up in secret in the basement. The restaurant owner makes noises through the cloth around his mouth.
In the locker room, Eun-seob puts on his bullet-proof vest and his imitations of Yeong replying to the king is hilarious.
Shinjae uses all his 21 vacation days and goes to an empty club to drink away his troubles. The club isn't even opened yet. Shinjae is only there because it is the only place he can hide from Tae-eul.
Yeong takes the driver's test for Eunseob who failed from not making correct turns.
The prime minister, Gon and Eubseob are together as the officials have to speak about the kingdom's matters. The prime minister does not eat as she says she will gain weight if she eats all three meals. She follows that up inquiring the king on marriage and the king sarcastically replies if she's going to marry him. She replies, "Can I?". Gon says he has already proposed to someone else and this shuts her up. Eunseob marvels at the passive aggression.
Tae-eul regrets that Gon and her have no photos together.
We flashback to the place in between the worlds where Tae-eul comments on not growing old if you are in that place. But neither of them connect the dots. Gon asks her to come to the kingdom and live there but it would put her in a difficult situation with her father, police work, friends back in the republic. Gon kisses her. Tae-eul moves in for a second kiss.
Gon watches footage that Yeong took while watching Tae-eul only to have his shoulder in pain and there is a storm. The date changes and states it was taken in 2022 and Tae-eul is wearing a different outfit.
Prince Buyeong and the king watch the first sunrise of the new year together.
Gon puts the pieces together when he remembers Tae-eul comments on not aging when in between worlds. He realizes this is how Rim is delaying time and does not age. Gon surmises that Rim is after the fountain of youth and to live eternally.
