Going To The Kingdom

We first see Gon at the cafe with Na-ri to pay her back by giving her a tiny diamond wrapped in a blue cloth. Shin-jae comes in for a drink and the evening sky outside the cafe looks beautiful. I love the vibes.
Gon and Tae Eul have went through the gate and Tae Eul asks for Yeong's gun. She immediately points the gun at Yeong and all the guards move to protect the king. She was only doing so to check if they would do so as evidence he is really a king.
They show Gon and Tae Eul in between the two worlds right after they entered the gate. The sky is a beautiful pink with lightning flashes. There is no light, wind or air there - but then how can they breathe?
The next scene is breathtaking. They are on a narrow path galloping to the kingdom. The sky is dark and there is just nature all around.
Yeong recognizes Tae Eul as the woman in the ID card and turns around to face Gon, in shock. When they arrive at the palace they are in Gon's study. Ok-nam instructs Tae Eul to place her belongings in the box and Tae Eul asks about frisking and puts her hands out. Ok-nam says it is okay they don't need to. Frisking means to be patted down like at the airport. Gon tells Tae Eul everyone has to go through this security process including the prime minister.
The kingdom's Na Ri enters the study with tea for Tae Eul. Tae Eul plops down on a chair and confirms with Na Ri the year and other details. Tae Eul asks for soju instead of tea. I love her beige, long coat with a waist-tie.
Yeong comes in and questions Tae Eul. Tae Eul asks him why he is talking casually when she knows he is a year younger than her. Gon comes in a robe wheeling a dining cart. He is so confident and smooth. The kingdom's Na Ri tells Gon that his guest was looking for alcohol and he sends Yeong to go find some. Yeong looks back surprised. Yeong and Na Ri walk together for the alcohol in a hallway.
Gon hands over his cellphone to Tae Eul so smoothly with a smooth smile. Before eating Tae Eul tells Gon to taste it first as she is in a situation like Alice In Wonderland. She disses his cooking and he says he has not done this in 25 years.
Ok-nam walks in startling the two of them and she informs them that Tae Eul has the bedroom farthest away from Gon's.
Tae Eul's room is a traditional Korean bedroom and Ok-nam tells Tae Eul to keep quiet of her time here. Tae Eul reassures that she is also a government official and will not reveal anything. Ok-nam refers her as lieutenant which makes Tae Eul question how she knows her and other details. She makes it clear before leaving Tae Eul is not welcomed a long-term stay here.
Gon comes in through the window and sits next to Tae Eul on the floor. She asks why he is on the floor when he previously said he can't sit on the floor and he replies it is not too bad especially with the draft. Tae Eul questions Gon about the lion keychain which looks cheap to her on her car key.
We see how Gon obtained that lion keychain. He spent lots of money retrying over and over to win a stuffed animal. He gives bills to the vendor in a manner that isn't embarrassing. He is confident.
Gon tells Tae Eul there are cameras around the room which freaks her out. He tells her he is joking and how surprised how much she believes in his words now.
Tae Eul is paranoid about the cameras so he decides to prove there are none by plopping his head on her shoulder. She is startled and it is such a cute scene.
Tae Eul asks Gon about him dating. Gon insists he has and she guesses the present moment to be when he started. Gon kisses her and I blushed. Gon asks her to guess if he is proving he has dated or is dating now.
The next morning Gon goes to Tae Eul's room where there are sheets covering the doorway. He has a uniform in his hand for her so she can accompany him on his duties. Tae Eul looks cool with her sunglasses and ear piece. Her hair is in a single braid.
Rim approaches a pregnant woman and shows her picture of her alternate living a fancy life. He talks about the life she could have full of riches.
In Seoul, Tae Eul sees the prime minister walking, smiling sincerely and waving at her fans.
The prime minister goes to join for lunch with a group of rich women including one being the alternate of the pregnant woman. The prime minister's hair is beautiful and she wears a beautiful dress. There is tension among the women as they make critical remarks at each other and comebacks. A woman says the man who had the sex scandal was a relative of the woman who left. A woman tells the prime minister how she wonders if the king likes old women and they belittle her position and term as prime minister. The prime minister has dirt and threats for them though.
Tae Eul sees Gon's helicopter landing on top of a building. Gon walks out and tells Tae Eul he heard she calls 17 times. He wonders why he came to Seoul and asks if she found the person she was looking for. Tae Eul grumbles, assuming Yeong tipped Gon off.
Gon wonders who the woman is and Tae Eul states it is her mother who died in the republic's world when she was five years old from illness. Tae Eul smiles sadly saying her mom might be alive in this world and she wishes to watch her from afar. Gon stares in sympathy saying she should have informed him. Tae Eul says she was only curious.
Gon teases Tae Eul about the saved searches on his phone including one that was about him having an ex-girlfriend.
The prime minister arrives with pretty heeled shoes. She marches over. Prime Minister's side profile especially when she smiles is beautiful because of her pointed chin and round forehead.
