A melodrama with the mine owner's son as hero and the pretty daughter of a miner as the heroine. The foreman is the villain and the climax is a bomb explosion scene. The Kalem players have put it over well and it has been produced in very commendable backgrounds, a real mine and its buildings. - The Moving Picture World, December 20, 1913
