Worst season yet, last 2 episodes saved it from being a complete flop. Not lot of things happened when you think about it. They should made this the last season and not extend something simple into another season. Disappointed.

Very slow plot
john0703 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
We watched 8 episodes in a row. Our impression is that this was inferior than season 3.
SPOILER
The plot was very slow and by the end of the season we are almost where we were at the beginning of the season. It is the first time I am not waiting for the next season.

Worst season yet, very disappointed

Warning: Spoilers
Of course, it is my opinion, but worst season of all.
Very slow pace (the real history moves really slow, basically almost nothing happens). A lot of cut scenes, just to throw drama but not adding much to the story.
We have a few episodes with a literal Rambo, so unrealistic.
And the end... So, the police of a whole country are looking for a guy with all their resources and their machinery, and just in last episode, a 8th month pregnant woman (no discrimination, just remarking the unrealistic situation) finds the guy in the last 20 minutes while she is being in the look out by the police.
And, sorry to say, but a lot of plot holes:
- When Rio leaves Rambo escape. Ok, he is traumatized and cannot shoot. But cannot he scream? Shoot to the air? Just lets the guy run?
- Well, the Rambo part is awesome. Guy silent in air conducts (when the heist guys climb to the air conducts, mysteriously they are noisy), guy reaches opens and closes air conducts in matter of seconds and of course he is bullet proof and the Rambo part.
- To rescue Lisboa, they make a false wall... What for? The original wall already has a door that can be closed. What difference made the second wall? If someone crosses the door of the first wall, will catch all the guys hiding in the second wall. So... really, why a second wall?
- Sierra goes after the professor after she is accused of torture, corruption, etc. She will go to jail whatever she makes... Instead of making a run for it, goes after the professor. Why? What will she gain of that?
- A bad guy with a pistol screams "Nairobi!" and instead of ducking to the floor, instead of anything, she turns around and looks at him.
- Oh, come on, the situation with Arturo is so incredible. Not the people doing the heist, not the hostages, ever do something to him. Just isolate him! Just throw him out of the bank!
- Talking about throwing out of the bank. What was the problem to throw Arturo and Rambo out of the bank instead of suffering their mess?
- Etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.
Grittier Season Four
polsixe9 May 2020
It ain't over yet but Season 4 was a change from Season 3 as the action turns more graphic. There is blood. A protaganist is on the loose in the Bank and proves to be a wily foe. Meanwhile, it takes a few episodes for the Professor to do his thing. Maybe a little too much time on Berlin and Palermo back story. Spanish authorities don't get it easy and are spoofed mercilessly. Bella ciao until next year.
Not the end that I was hoping for

WHY DIDNT THEY END IT HERE ?
ui_113 April 2020
The episode was absolutely spot on and kept me at the edge of the seat the entire time, but why are they prolonging this heist ?
Seeing the current pandemic across the globe it is very difficult to predict that when will Season 5 release. Maybe after 2 to 3 years. Long wait
The emotion of La Casa de Papel - a beggining with no end
NoCliffhangers3 April 2020
This episode, as for the rest of part 4 of La Casa de Papel merges the best and worst you can have in a TV series. Emotion and power in the writing, powerful speeches but no closure. A beggining without an end...
We got the best we can ask from a TV series: deep emotional moments that make you hold your breath while watching. Meaningful scences, spiced up with amazing flashbacks, that make us learn more about the characters we learned to love. The criminal plans and the mastermind of El Professor, are again shown to be something we have never seen anywhere else. But more than that the message is again astonishing, the message for DEMOCRACY - the power of the people. The magnificient way this series explores how masses can be moved by common values and a meaningful story. Amazing.
However, and I write this with some sadness, this part four lacked something. It lacked a powerful end, or if they really want to keep this going a powerful cliffhanger (this one was far from that). It lacked closure, for the characters but mainly for us. It lacked real change, it lacked a real victory or defeat. The journey to this last episode is still worth it, building momentum for what could have been an amazing end. Instead, the choice was to set the beggining for a new sub-plot, without creating a clear end for the last one... Maybe the future will give us something good, but for now, this did not seem right.

it's not that bad, i don't get the hate

Warning: Spoilers
Of course in these two seasons everything is happening much slower. That is a little bit annoying and of course the things with Gandia makes absolutely no sense.
But everything else is not that bad. It can't be the same like first 2 seasons and that's normal. Also, professor gets tired like everyone else even if he's super smart. Lisbon obviously had to go to the bank even before she was taken by the police, because that was plan Paris. Maybe she somehow will help them escape. Also, it makes sense that Sierra and not the police found professor, because no one ever suspected Antonanzas. Gandia part was kind of interesting even if not everything makes sense, but it was something different, because hostages finally fought back and were dangerous.
In overall, almost everything made sense for me. I liked it very much and I cannot wait for 5th season
i am still loving it

Very slow pace with unnecessary drama
wpavly4 April 2020
This season should have brought the story of season 3 to an end.
I'm now losing interest with all the unnecessary drama & slow pace.
We were promised (& expecting) lot more action. I'm really disappointed that they are destroying the series to make more money.
The Game didn't End it Just Getting Started 💯🔥

Warning: Spoilers
Really disappointed in this fourth part of money heist. From Gandi being immune to bullets to just killing Nairobi in front of them. How did that even happened? I think Nairobi had some much more to her character and it was painful to see her fall.
But worst part was the script for professor, what happened to all his big smart plans? He just lost all his brain capacity just like that. Only good plan he had this season was the "Pris plan" but I wasn't satisfied with that. Why take her in their and what is there plan.
This whole season contained almost nothing about the actual heist, just about freeing Lisabon and a man that immune to bullets.
I think they did a season that was almost unnecessary, with only fillers in all the characters script. Was it just me that didn't feel like I was watching "Money heist"?
Worst part was how they left us with a cliffhanger and how did she even get there with just a license plate. The real professor would never let a mistake like that happend.
Overall not worth about 1 year of hype for it.

Warning: Spoilers
I have little or nothing to say about this season finale, the last 2 episodes were the best of the season, despite having low quality, I will continue to follow the series due to entertainment.
But to be honest I would like to see something more realistic in the coming seasons (I think they announced at least 2 more) and more consistent writing.
Overall I was disappointed. The truth is that as an audience we always ask for more and more, which ends up complicating the work of the writers and the whole team, because it is not always possible to do more, making it almost mandatory to invent something to entertain us. Of course, money also speaks.
Finally, I hated the shootings with Gandia, it was pathetic. But the funniest thing for me was when Gandia broke free and confronted Rio, leaving him without reaction, if he was the only one to taking care of the hostages, how come none of the hostages decided to do anything ?? they were at the main entrance, they could have just clicked the button and left through the main door

I am writing this exactly after watching the whole season 4.The show still stay on its values;fast paced show full of stress, anger, love, passion, madness and of course adernaline.
I think the ideas of el proffesor is reaching to an end.the fans are getting used to it.further more surprizing the fans will be the hardest job absolutely in next season.
An amazing finale!!!

Really slow pace. Don't do this to shows!
zandisara4 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
The part is really slow and also with unnecessary flashbacks with no point just to have Berlin around. The only meaningful moment was Nairobi's death. And Gandia, Is the character even human? They shout him from every side and he's still alive and he keep manage escape and kill Nairobi and go on. It's like the show just kept us entertained with all the action of Gandia's role and Nairobi's death and all the flashback, but less improve in story line. I'm not satisfied with this part as much as the other part. All this part just for the sake of more episodes and more parts! I really liked this show because the story telling was different than the other shows and now it's same as others.
We all love when the professor starts to think.
duttasubhadeep-400074 April 2020
The starting of S4 was low-paced. It went to a time of complete bluffing with the original plot of the series. The 'Palermo helped Gandia break loose' part was going nowhere. It all starts to grow when the professor starts to think after ep. 6. That's when it starts to get all out of the box and amazing.
Hoping for season 5 to be much more dramatic then just time-killing.

No matter how much fast pace episodes they made but still , they couldn't bring to an end . So we are standing at the same point in last episode where we started in the beginning.role of paleremo is completely out of line. I wish Berlin was there to put a bullet in him.
That was a whole season?
