I loved this episode. It put the leper's plight into context and creates lines of continuity to additional miracles of the Savior. You can understand why people begin to follow Jesus Christ. The depiction of the Leper's wounds healing is some great special effects as well. Loved it!
Powerful episode

I LOVE THE SERIE! I am binge watching....2 more to go and I will be watching the serie on the app after: I don't want it to end!!!.
Sweet addiction of mine! I am autistic and I am so impressed by Matthew's performance: he is so good I genuinely believed he was an Aspie, thanks for the thought!
The motivation of the filmmaker, the extraordinary selection of actors: this is a real blessing these days. We need such a heartwarming reminder that all things are possible and this serie brings the HOPE we need to lift us up right at the good moment in time: I do not believe in coincidence! The timing is simply perfect.
I love all characters but of course Jesus is one of my favorite, Matthew is real impressive and I like Nicodemus because unlike the other pharisee he is keeping an open mind, he knows the scriptures and one can tell he has been waiting for that moment. However I am in awe of the whole cast.
I wanted a keepsake and manage to get the brown devotional and the blue is on its way ....Love the items you selling and wish I could buy more...I will pray for the serie to be blessed from start to finish so you are given the mean to do the 8 series you are planning. I am impressed as well by the testimony of Dallas Jenkins in the behind the scene filming, I can feel the blessing and I am right there with you: THANK YOU!
Get's better as the episodes build up.

Get's better as the episodes build up; Indescribable Compassion has mix of the Jewish religious leaders, Mathews experience, and the effects of Jesus's ministry. The disciples anxious for what the messiah will do next as the audience wonders also. Jesus's teaching gathers a huge crowd about the Kingdom of Heaven. Mathew's wonders about Jesus. The lowly tax collector. People see and hear of miracles this results into a hole in the roof for a man to be healed. The testimonies effects on Romain government, the Jewish religious elders, and the public/disciples stews as a movement is starting. What is this new movement of Christianity. Well written, directed, and acted. 10 stars.

Jesus heals a leper and a paralytic

I've been an avid Bible student since I was 21 years old. Prior to that I lived my life without caring what my Creator thought about my choices. My Bible study has only increased in the over the 40 years since I first started reading the Gospel accounts.
I know the Bible very well and am thoroughly enjoying The Chosen series. Naturally, since I am so familiar with the Bible account, I have some opinions about this series. I believe it is important to point out that less than 10% of each episode of The Chosen is actually from the Bible accounts. Ninety percent of these episodes are embellishments; the producer's ideas of how the Bible characters may have spoken, looked and acted, beyond what is written in the Bible. I have no problem with those embellishments. As a matter of fact, I appreciate and enjoy much of the non-biblical inventions by the writers of this series.
I would like to speak about the good and the not so good embellishments created by the writers of this series. I hope you will not be offended by my critique.
Episode 6 - Jesus heals a leper and a paralytic. Much of the things Jesus says in Zebedees house are collected from various points during his ministry in the Gospels. The sad part is that we only get to hear bits and pieces of his many parables, which are absolutely poignant and beautiful, due to the cutting away to show the Egyptian woman trying to get her friend in to be healed.
My only critique is that, one thing that the writers wrote for Nicodemus to say concerns the idea of God becoming flesh. When Jesus speaks of his "Father in Heaven", that is the One he calls "my God and Father" and God is in Heaven when Jesus is saying that. God sent His only-begotten Son to Earth, God didn't send Himself. Y'shua was Yehovah's firstborn, only-begotten Son in Heaven as a spirit being with his God and Father before being sent to Earth. They were not and are not the same spirit being. There are dozens of Scriptures, including Jesus' own words, which prove this truth. That's the only issue I have with this excellent episode.
Biblical content in this episode; 20% Mark 2:1-12 but it doesn't say whose house he was in.

Each episode represents, for me, a source of emotions Because, after so many series and films about The Savior, this is so different in profound sense. It is different for the trust in the viewer . It is different for the delicate - precise traits of each character. It is different because it propose applications to thing who you know only theoretical. And the result is just amazing. Yes,Paras Patel gives, in so nuanced, fair manner, just Saint Apostle Matthew who you deserve, so different by the old image of this tax collector. Nicodemus of. Erick Avari is just the one who you suppose after old lectures. You feel the story and this feel makes the story discovered for the first time in beautiful way. Not the last, the accents are one of the good points of flm.
