Sex & Nudity
-
- One non-graphic sex scene about halfway through the film. A man and a married woman have sex outside the back of a bar. This is the only sexual scene in this film and there is no nudity, only some moaning and thrusting.
Violence & Gore
-
- There is no gore in this film.
- Due to the nature of this film, abduction and murder are main themes, but we do not see any murders being comitted.
- When a box is found near the beginning, we see the mummified remains of a child.
- A man pours cement in a pit and it is implied that a child is locked into a wooden box which was placed inside the pit.
- There are a couple of scenes of fighting but only with fists.
Profanity
-
- Overall the language is not very strong nor frequent.
- One use of 'fuck', also a few other profanities like 'shit', 'damn', 'hell', 'ass', Jesus.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
-
- There are a few scenes of smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol during this film, but no drugs.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
-
- The film involves a murderer of children. Some scenes can be intense or distressting to watch, such as when a desperate father looks for his missing son, and when a box is found near the beginning, we see the mummified remains of a child.
- Rated R for a scene of sexuality and some language. The rating for this film however would be more appropriate as a PG-13.
