I stopped watching after McDreamy left, I couldn't take it, but something about this title made me watch the first three episodes of this season. I'm so pleasantly surprised! In addition to the great guest stars, in this one, Hal Linden and two of the 3 sisters from Charmed reunited, Alyssa Milano and Holly Marie Combs all just soared through their scenes, I have found myself laughing out loud in every episode. That doesn't happen often. It's a little transparent on the social issue of medical care in this country, even heavy handed, but the problems are actually as real as depicted. It's a crime, and perhaps our heroine whose crimes of service have put her career in jeopardy will be the crime solver needed. I really appreciate having had a really good laugh.

Bailey ruined

Warning: Spoilers
For the record, I used to be a huge fan of Bailey, especially in Seasons 1 to 9. But I have no idea how she turned into this arrogant yet mediocre surgeon, monopoly and dictative chief, and double-standard JACKASS (I'm trying to avoid stronger language).
For starters, Bailey herself once changed the surgery time on the record so that her patient could get the surgery before his insurance expried (S5E02). She herself broke several physician's code, even the law (remember she giving the immuno-deficient child treatment against his parents' wishes?). Yet, I don't see her firing herself.
Miranda Bailey, of all people, used to be the most loyal to her mentor, yet she's here telling Andrew to let go of the loyalty, the same way she asked Meredith when she hired Minnick. And in this episode, she fired Qadri simply because she advocated for Meredith, which is definitely wrongful terminations uit waiting to happen.
Shockingly, she sure gives herself a lot of credit for the excellence of Mer. The same thing happened when Cristina was nominated for the H-A Award in season 10, whereas Richard never did such thing. In this episode, it was clear that she didn't even know how to do the ALPPS procedure, otherwise she wouldn't need Mer to guide the surgery remotely.
Making her chief is probably the most stupid thing Richard has ever done, apart from his drinking, given how many times she has stabbed him in the back (oh, Minnick again) since she started, and how many times she fired others SIMPLY because they disliked or disaggred with her decision for GOOD REASONS.
