Absolute trash

What on earth did I try to watch here? I hated every single aspect of this, low budget or not get some better actors and voice actors.

1/10 could not care less.

Intelligent micro budget ghost tale
lloydyb22 December 2020
Set in a woman's prison Blood cell depicts murderer Barbara's experience coming to terms with incarceration. She encounters ghosts that help narrate her torment, conscience and sense of loss. It is an intelligent film with strong characterisation that could easily be a two person play. Be warned in has a micro budget (though that is irrelevant) and is set in one room I.E. the cell; so know what you are letting yourself in for. The low IMDB score is absurd and clearly provided by people with limited appreciative abilities lets say who were expecting something less intelligent and more visceral. It's not brilliant but it's an entertaining diversion with a strong script, good direction and acting.

A claustrophobic, slow burn mystery
Reel_Addict30 July 2021
The single location setting inside the titular cell makes for a captivating watch, despite it's low-budget constraints.

Set inside a cell in a Women's prison, it sees the arrival of new inmate, Barbara. The back story leading to her incarceration is slowly revealed to cellmate Evelyn as the two strike up an interesting bond.

This is a worthy watch for fans of indie low-budget horrors looking for something a bit different. There are some interesting twists and psychological drama to keep you guessing and entertained.
