Very weird but good

This movie feels very unique, it probably isnt for everyone and monster stuff isnt usually my thing but I did enjoy it. There were funny moments to it and I really liked all of the main characters. It definitely gets the weirdest toward the end. You can tell it was low-budget but the movie is a unique and experimental experience. The music was probably my favorite thing.

Super Quirky

Unusual and oddly endearing. A lot of it takes place in peaceful, green, natural locations, which adds to the feeling of it being an escape. Can imagine they had a lot of fun making this!

Did they find the Hidden Man? Maybe the real Hidden Man was inside us all along (this is not a spoiler, just a trope).

Wonder what else this team will make. Keep looking for Hidden Ones.

If you look at all these glowing reviews and check how many they have written, you will find one thing in common. Only ONE review. How convenient that they all rate this a 9 or 10. This is how you check reviews folks. Look to see if they review other films instead of just one particular film. This will tell you either they are paid or are part of the crew or friends of the people that made the film. This is just a goofy film with mediocre acting that really doesn't go anywhere. Turned it off about halfway in. Just watched to see how bad it actually was with nothing but fake 9 and 10 star reviews. If you are looking for a scary found footage film that's coherent, then you need to look elsewhere.

Their was nothing Nothing that was captivating Nothing was visually stunning No decent acting was there Editing was terrible It hurt my head to concentrate on it Trust me you will feel the same It felt like very young children had picked up a camera There was nothing witty or clever So disappointing

It made me feel like Americans didn't belong on the land they was living like the land didn't suite there being.

A 'documentary'

It has a large cast, so I can understand all the glowing reviews. Once those are done, the real reviews start. Looking to make a documentary on followers of the 'hidden man', and they set up all the quirks and strangeness of the supposed 'hidden man'. And as in a cult, roles are cast as devotees to the 'hidden man'. They interview the appropriate authorities to make it seem important. Yes, there is a lot of energy from the actors in their roles. And their roles as part of a cult, as no rationale person could believe what they are saying. Except that it soon gets very boring and repetitious. Now I need to add some more words to meet the minimum....

If you're looking for something different to watch, give He Who Lives in Hidden Lakes a chance.

Funny - definitely a little weird and a little psychedelic at times, it'll keep you watching right until the end.

Yes, you'll pick up a Blair Witch vibe as you watch - but it never strays into true horror territory.

Likeable characters, intriguing plot and great production values make this indie a solid 9/10.

I loved the documentary styled storytelling in the film. It made me feel like I was part of the adventure. The sound design was IMPECCABLE which makes me want to watch it again but on my tv with my surround system😂. Very good work to everyone involved!

This is a FUN film with several storylines around a central phenomenon. It has humor, drama, suspense and surprise! Well thought out with high-quality production value! Kudos to all involved in the making of this interesting film.

This movie is equal parts humorous and suspenseful. It is very aware of itself and has no problem poking fun at it self, but it continues to keep you pondering throughout.

Make no mistake, this may look like a joke and yes, it is funny most of the times. But it cleverly explores all aspects of the human psyche surrounding supernatural occurences. The differents views, motives and reactions are depicted. Very interesting and very entertaining.

I loved the documentary styled storytelling in the film. My favorite character was that lil quirky cop dude, he stole the show! The documentary style pulled me in, because documentary is all the rage with millennial. I'd love to audition in future and revitalize my old acting aspirations!

Can't wait to continue this crazy adventure together!

EXPECTED NOTHING AND THEN...

Overall i love all kind of movies, either those funded with huge budgets or the littlelest. When i started seing this i expected nothing but as the movie started going on i was kind of invested all over how cool something so dumb could end up being so entertaining and a true curious mistery you just want to reveal as fast as you can before the director decides to cut with an open ending. I didn´t actually expect it was going to end up being about several storylines, gotta say i was mindblown. Hope to look ahead of this journey and.expand this lore.
