I remember watching this show every day when I came home from school. Yes it was the tv equivalant of junk food but I still enjoyed the cases of family court Judge Robert J. Franklin played by the avuncular Robert Shield. I remembered thinking to myself how good it would have been in real life if all court cases were this cut and dried and all judges were as nice as Judge Franklin. This episode was one of the more graphic where a realeased convict with a bomb seeks revenge on the judge. Danny Goldman is in the episode as the father of a boy on trial when the court is taken hostage and I remember him as the medical student who irritates Gene Wilder in Young Frankenstein by not pronouncing his name FRANKENSTEEN. I was saddened to learn that all of the old episodes of the Judge had been erased and we will never see it again. What a tragic loss.
