Wow, that was sad.
amexspam7 October 2019
That was painful. The show doesn't know what it wants to be. Is it the Tiffany standup hour? Is it the kiddie talent show? Is it the Tiffany Variety show? The shots of the audience showed pained smiles or boredom. The old show had non-audience low stress chats between Art and the kids. This show has Tiffany using them as props. I give it 3 weeks.

This woman is a narcissist narcissist

IYou've got a run the show the way Johnny Carson or Art Linkletter did. Put the asset ahead of yourself. Ask great questions and then shut up and listen to what the kids do and say. The show can be fixed but if you don't do it quickly it's dead!

Disappointment
markawyman7 October 2019
Just like the post above... I was also disappointed in the show... In the opening it said it was a Series Premier... But in reality its a Series Reboot...

In previous series it was all about the KIDS, but this reboot seems to be more about the host.... I suggest you Re-Read the Title of the show (KIDS say the darndest things)......!!!!!

Narcisistic, needy, unfunny
laurainmark8 October 2019
Should be called "Tiffany Haddish says the neediest things". The host makes every moment about herself as she pathetically name drops her way through the show. It is clear the children are uncomfortable at the awkward attempts of the narcissistic host to make everything about herself. It was sad, awkward, unfunny, and a touch disturbing. This show can't be cancelled quickly enough. I've chuckled more during 60 Minutes than this failed attempt at forcing funny.

Horrible.

Warning: Spoilers
I love Tiffany Haddish but this isn't a good show at all. It's the Tiffany Haddish Show, not the Kids Say the Darndest Things show. Everything smells of being staged. There are weird and inappropriate situations that kids are in, such as this portion of the show tonight where two kids are talking about "balls" and the whole audience and Tiffany are laughing in innuendo and the kids have no clue what's happening. One kids supposedly calls Tiffany's ex-boyfriend (which I'm not sure I believe it was him but...) which seems really inappropriate. If Tiffany has an issue with an ex she should call him. There was a segment called "Six in the City" playing on "Sex in the City". Just an overly awkward vibe and cringy and shameful.

They don't get what the show is supposed to be about
mauriciofernandogerhardt7 October 2019
People like listening to kids because they are spontaneous, unfiltered, creative, cute, funny, energetic, innocent. This reboot has kids who are there to be famous, so they aren't innocent, uncensored, spontaneous, etc.

Used to Love
babyblue9137 October 2019
I used to love this show but with Tiffany Hadith hosting it's like the Tiffany show, more about her and less about the kids. She is too stuck on herself for something like this. She loud and obnoxious. I would rather watch Child Support that was so entertaining.

Sad
bstsisy-125407 October 2019
I was so looking forward to the premiere of "Kids say the Darnest Things," but it was more "The Tiff Show". What a disappointment! It's a shame producers/writers made what could have been/could be a great show such a let down for viewers.

Pure fun!

It's refreshing to see a show that sets, as its sole mission, to entertain. No news, no agenda...nothing but fun, wit, and adorable kids. Hope to see more episodes!

better second episode
chrisdye-2304315 October 2019
Okay so lets start by saying i hated the first episode it was nothing but tiffany herself yaking about being Tiffany and none of the jokes really landed except a couple but the second episode mostly deals with the kids and what they have to saY about certain things and let me tell you its laugh out loud funny its still a bit more Tiffany then one can handle however its not as bad as before and she herself was funnier this week

If I could give it a zero I would

Horrible. Not one good thing was good. The host is terrible, the kids are staged, nauseating from the first 10 seconds in. I gave it about 20 minutes and sadly I will never get that time back. The show needs to be canceled and the viewers need saved.

Terrible host, she thought the show was about her
christopherlmccauley11 October 2019
Her grammar and terrible enunciation of words made me cringe. She was more impressed with herself than we were of her. Her lack of education was magnified every time she opened her mouth. I will say one thing positive. She did interact well with the children.

Tiffany says the dumbest things
ananurse14 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
My hubby & I were looking forward to this show, but it's 2 Sundays of very poorly produced or performed per the host / Tiffany. Not even close to Art Linkletter , BIll Cosby or the Steve's Little Hot shots? ( something like that) If Tiffany was not so high on herself & receive some coaching on being a good HOST & not a star, she does have some redeeming qualities. It's about the KIDS say the darkness things & not about Tiffany having difficulty with CLEAR ENUNCIATION OF WORDS. it's not a Comedy Club,it's about the Kids. Ask questions ,then allow the kids to elaborate ,be spontaneous ,real - the way kids are when allowed to express them self. Maybe the producers are at fault here & the host just needs some directions on how to interview kids .

Commercial
pjfletch9 October 2019
The commercial turned me off. It's a kids show and she reply's she was shinning balls at 22 and thought it was funny as hell. I don't think so. Maybe she should go to the comedy club. The affect was dirty.

chrisdye-478488 October 2019
Okay when my family came to see me from far away on Sunday we were looking for something to watch as an entire family and saw this and emedietly thought it could be the best bet however about a half hour in to the show we saw this was more about faming Tiffany headish if anything else what kids we did see were funny and cute but really not enough to make up for it to be good bring back little big shots

UGH!
oldurkey19 October 2019
I didn't even have to watch. I could tell how phony it was from the ads. When the little girl was asked about a boyfriend, she promptly turned to the audience and said, "Dad, cover your ears." Big yuck. And the hostess strikes me as a full-of-herself bimbo.

Nice version for the new generation
abbieprice-4434027 October 2019
I've watched the Art Linkletter and Bill Cosby versions of Kids Say the Darndest Things! So when I heard that a new one was coming out then I knew I just had to watch it to see how it would work for the new generation! Tiffany Haddish is a really funny comedian and actress! And from watching these last few Sundays, I think she does a great job with the kids that she interviews! I think she'll have a lot of time to improve on this hosting thing! Let's all give Season one a chance and see how it goes! My favorite part is when she shows flashbacks of Art Linkletter!

All about the host
mrice-6224414 October 2019
I love hearing kids say funny things but the host makes this show awful! It's all about the host and not about the kids. I very much disliked this show!

Wonderful

I don't understand where all the hate is coming from. The show is so good and hilarious. Tiffany is such a good host, I'm glad she started her own show. I've been following her through movies and media, she is a sweetheart.

Kids are hilarious! Would love to see more screen time for the scenes.
ginger_strong16 May 2021
I love the show, but its absolutely irritating that they preview whats coming up before and after each commercial. It is a big waste of time that could be used to see mor kids. You give a preview of the show at the beginning and it's over kill to keep showing the same previews over and over throughout the show, it's a clearly intentional to shorten the actual acts time. Thank God for DVR to fast forward past the commercials and your continuos previews.

I recorded this to watch with my wife. At a minute in I didn't care for it. I think we lasted all of five minutes and moved on.

It's not good.
bmo80911811 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
The jokes, the audience, and the host fell flat in this attempt to reboot the series. The jokes were unfunny and at times, felt recycled from the last episode only barely tweeked to fit the narrative of the viewing episode. This also foils down to the cliché audience who also felt ingenuine and synchronized in every response (laugh at "funny" moment, awe at cute moment, cheer during Tiffany's jokes/apperances) and the only ones who seem generally excited are the parents/family of the child guests on the show. I don't have anything to critique about the children, but sometimes they seem uninterested, shy, or uncomfortable around Tiffany. Now the ringmaster, Tiffany, emulates the same forced ingenuine tone as most late show hosts. Her attire as professional as it looks, is what I would associate with a politician's attire and not a casual host. Her interactions with the children are awkward. For the first 6 minutes, she goes on about herself before any of the kid guests are brought on. This show isn't groundbreaking and there are better shows to watch than this.

Not impressed.
alidunford8 August 2020
The kids are definitely coached on what to say. It lacks spontaneity. Also why is the host so obsessed with asking the kids if they have a boyfriend or a girlfriend? I don't really love the situations the host puts some of the kids in. It's uncomfortable and a little inappropriate at times. The host is really into her self and talks nonstop about her success. The kids are still cute and even though they might we coached on what to say they are still kids and they are still cute and funny. My seven-year-old daughter really likes the show so I guess It's a fun watch for kids.
