A Toronto Blue Jay major league baseball card is one boys treasure, and then it becomes the same man's treasured memory shared with his mom 20 years later

Such a well written episode with terrific acting from the entire Pearson clan. While mom Rebecca Pearson is trying extremely hard to contain her emotions and keep her anxiety at bay while waiting for the results of her medical tests, her son Kevin reminisces about the trip he and his his mom took some twenty years ago to a sports store as a reward for getting two (2) "A's" on his latest report card. Rebecca agreed to reward Kevin with five dollars for each "A" he obtained on his report card so young Kevin wanted to buy a specific major league baseball card to complete his baseball card collection. As it is with most of us, typically it is not the reward itself, but "the hunt" which is most memorable. Kevin finds himself reminiscing about how he and his mom went through each package of baseball cards, and chewing on each wad of gum included in each of the packages, hunting to find that allusive Toronto Blue Jays card, of John Candalaria.

Fast forward twenty years to the current time and Kevin convinces his mom to relax by taking her on a short road trip to complete one thing remaining on Rebecca's bucket list, to find Joni Mitchell's house which Rebecca and her then boyfriend and future husband Jack tried to do while they were still just dating. Using google maps and Siri, Kevin not only finds the house but walks u to the front door which causes Rebecca's heart to overflow with memories of her time with Jack and she begins to sing that famous song Joni Mitchell wrote "Our House".

It is a both a wonderful and magical episode that a person would have to be a complete zombie to not be touched with emotion and empathy.

Such a beautifully written, acted and incredibly moving episode

Oh my goodness, where to start? First, this is truly one of the most moving series I have ever had the pleasure of watching on TV. I don't know how the writers are able to continue making every episode better than the last. "Clouds" has it all - Very emotional flashbacks from the past that then directly correlate to what is happening in the present time. The actors are phenomenal here. And Sterling K. Brown's performance? Wow. And the music? Oh my God. Joni Mitchell and then Graham Nash and "Our House"? One of my favorite songs ever! I may have to sit here, take it all in, and watch it again. Brilliant. Can't wait until next week to see how the writers are able to top this.

It's All Ours for Now

Once again, superb. Rebecca is beginning to lose herself to this disorder. We see two time periods, both involving Kevin and a trip. Kevin goes with Rebecca on a necessary shopping trip. He is along so he can go to a baseball card store and look for a specific card, Toronto Blue Jay's John Candelaria. They have a lot of fun on the trip because they forget about their day to day problems. Rebecca gets into the process of opening card packs and seeing what is inside. When they strike treasure it is a delightful moment. Meanwhile, Kate is having doubts about Toby and his motives in trying to do something nice for her. She has to come to grips with what heppens when you are consumed by what ifs.
