All my stars are for the last 10 minutes of the episode, beginning with Rowena and Sam's final scene together and then Rowena falling into the chasm. Broke my heart.

The episode is action packed and entertaining, great performance from Rowena - its sad to see another great character go, but she did it for the greater good.
The most bothersome aspect for me yet again is Cas and Dean's relationship. Cas has made some huge mistakes in the past, but when he's there, hes There for the boys, like family. For the past few seasons Dean has just been awful to him, its a wonder he stayed around so long. The end of the episode was heart wrenching to see Dean treat Cas in such a way. A big portion of the fans love these guys, and the writers seem determined lately to break them apart and let Dean be miserable for ever more. As the final series I would have liked to see some reconciliation.

"I don't care about anything enough to take my own life. Not you, your brother or even the world. But I believe in prophecy, in magic!" What a fantastic line. Such a fitting and symbolic way for Rowena to die. So true to her character as a wicked witch!!

I really was skeptical of how this season was going with the way the first two episodes went. I really didn't like how 2 whole episodes were focused on the boys in the same place fighting the same thing, in such an underwhelming way. While episode 3 was more of the same, it was a fantastic step in the right direction. Losing Ketch and especially Rowena was so heartbreaking, but necessary for the story. Cass leaving Dean at the end of the episode was also necessary for the plot, as now we'll have a good portion of this final season just like the good old days, with Sam and Dean out on the road fighting monsters together. Really looking forward to how this season plays out!

We've kicked into gear now, folks. This episode had all the things I expect from a great episode of Supernatural: surprisingly heartbreaking character moments, the culmination of a prediction from years ago, a heart to heart between brothers, and some seriously messed up situations.
If you were on the fence about Season 15 based on the first two episodes, I highly recommend you give this one a watch. Robert Berens is a phenomenal writer who really knows these characters. The acting from the main cast is on point as usual, especially highlighted by the script.
The conclusion of this episode has me more excited than ever to see where this final season takes us and the Winchesters.

This episode goes a long way towards making the first part of the season really work. The resolution the writers selected for Rowena (and to a lesser extent Ketch) is extremely satisfying for fans that have been paying attention. The big moment is emotionally draining and thematically pungent. Best of all it is believable for the two characters involved.
Add in the heel turn by Belphegor is also great.

Haven't seen an episode like this in a while. The gut wrenching scene between Sam and Rowena and the heartbreaking scene between Castiel having to kill Belphagor/Jack n the goodbye exchange between Cass n Dean was painful to watch. This type of episode is like a season finale type and it's only the beginning of the end. Off to an amazing start boys.
Wraps up

I have noticed a lot of the time the intital conflict of the season gets wrapped up in 3 eps... Anyway i really liked the demon, Rowena's thing didn't make too much sense to me really, i just am over the emotional stuff of the show.... Especially because i suspect they'll come back. Dean is being an ass for no reason again.
MASTERPIECE!! EPIC!!

A big improvement on the last episode. A nice eventful episode that resolved and closed off certain story lines. All the demons were sent back to hell, Rowena and Jack's demon were kaput. Finally a good end for Rowena, a good character but characters should not be kept on with no purpose. The same goes for Ketch and Jack who outlived their purpose. The return of all the ghosts storyline also met a timely end. While I like Castiel he has been a fruitless character for a number of seasons. He finally spoke some sense after all this time by mentioning he will not be hanging around. The slate has been wiped clean and lets see where the show will go now. I feared they were going to drag this demon-hell story line for a whole season. 8/10
Im a bigger supernatural fan than you are!

Sorry for the low vote...But im more committed to the show supernatural...and not this ...whatever this is....WHo directed this episode. It has the worst directing and the worst acting of any supernatural episode in the past few years...Even dean acted poorly...yikes...thats when you know something ain't right..Sam is a rock the whole time and Dean hates castiel now because of...reasons? Im not sure actually...just out of nowhere this sudden hatred...you guys gonna break up the team on the last season...ill spit on you!
Cas was something else

Warning: Spoilers
Belphagor riding around in Jack's body is uncomfortable to begin, with but seeing the way Cas reacts to this is so heartbreaking to me. The way he acts around him and doesn't look at him and then finally, the way he kills him. Misha's acting was something else in this episode. Not only did Cas have to hold Belphagor down to kill him but the fact that he had to pull the "no don't, it's me!" card. This moment was hard enough for Cas and you're going to throw that in there too? And just the way he restrains himself a moment before killing him and then not just smiting the demon but burning up the body entirely. God that scene just kills me. Jack was practically Cas' son and he loved him so much and it just makes these episodes with Belphagor in it so hard to watch. The rest of the episode was good but Dean was such a d*** at the end so it looses points.
Started to hate Dean

Compared to last weeks it's nice to say that we are not only back on track, but up several notches.
This episode was a roller coaster of thrills and emotions, the story was strong and at times epic. Acting was brilliant, the music made the overall tone exhilarating, the lighting was correctly shadowed, it felt like i was watching Supernatural again.
I'm excited for what this last Season can achieve now, Supernatural is back in the game!

There's a lot of things that went wrong techincally (camera works, acting etc) but at this point i think we don't here for that, we're here for the story, So, after they bring a bunch of these new characters, they decided to kill em all of in one episode. I don't understand the logic behind this. What are the writers intention by killing these character RIGHT AFTER they just brought back. The twist with balpeghor or whatevet is THE WORST, i seen it coming miles away. Hey, but at least it's somewhat better than the last episode..
On the right track.

After the first 2 disappointing episodes we're back on track. I just wish they hadn't killed Belphegor so quickly. He seemed a fun character.I liked the deaths of Rowena and Ketch. They had been borderline evil at certain stages so a heroic death for both of them is nice as a kind of redemption.
