WE NEED SEASON 3!!!!

Warning: Spoilers
This episode was great, the three way fight between Seg, Lyta and Zod. The fight between the resistance and Zod's army. It was also awesome seeing Adam in his comic accurate suit. And everything after that was great and got me hyped for season 3. Doomsday survived, Nyssa landed on a planet and saw blood made into the omega symbol. Then we see freaking parademons flying in the sky. Then we see Brainieac with Jor-El heading towards earth. And Seg and Lobo are going to go after brainieac. Just so much too look forward to. I hope this show gets renewed.

The show isn't he best sow I ever seen there are some cliche moments. And some unanswered questions when watching a prequel series unlike smallville. But it's also enjoyable to see. But For a season finale But for it s second season I twas done well. The show is steady paced. Did a good job in incorporating four villians in a ten episode season which still left with room for other stories. And adding more as we go. Not sure how I felt with the mom and daughter now both having something with te same man. But I do look forward to. Third Season. At least syfy didn't cancel the along with deadly class and happy. Or I would just stop watching it Like when they cancelled dominion.

Not a proper ending but a decent episode and a good show.

Warning: Spoilers
Since Krypton wasn't renewed for a 3rd season, I was expecting all lose-ends to be wrapped up. Instead we got a new direction and a thousand questions to be answered in a new season that will never be. Shame.I really wish another Network would pursue it.

But this episode was enjoyable nonetheless and so was Krypton in general. It took me one episode or two to get used to this series but pretty quickly I was hooked because the stories were good, the cast : good and evil were interresting and even the acting was pretty decent if not perfectly mastered by all the actors.

As a fan of Superman I've watched almost all the series so far (superboy, lois & clark, smallville, supergirl etc.) and like them all, Krypton didn't disappoint me. So I urge everyone to give Krypton a try : it's not a perfect, it has some flaws but in retrospect now that I've seen it all, i really believe that it really was worth my time and that it might also be worthy of yours if you give it a proper chance.

Perfect way to end the season

Warning: Spoilers
The final showdown between Seg-Lyta and Zod and between the army of Zod and rebels has been handled really well. Seg and Lyta's speech were really strong. Lyta storyline is just a bit confusing, it seemed she was on Themyscira. Lobo and Seg working together seems really interesting and Jor-El heading to earth is really unexpected. I think he will take Superman's place and it would be awesome to see Jor-El as a protagonist along with his father.

Season Two Review
southdavid2 December 2019
Despite its dull start, season one of "Krypton" eventually won me over enough to encourage me back for this second run. Season two has more of the elements I liked from that first run but it's still weighed down by far too much disinteresting domestic politics to make the grade and the cancellation is probably just about right.

General Zod (Colin Salmon) has ascended to the throne of Krypton and schemes to conquer other worlds, he plans to bring Doomsday to heel to get this done. Seg-El (Cameron Cuffe) is trapped in the phantom zone though with Braniac (Blake Ritson) and though they both escape, the bounty hunter Lobo (Emmett Scanlan) is tracking Brainiac with a personal vendetta.

It's hard to really nail what's wrong with Krypton. It should work, it's fairly similar to "Gotham" in set up when you think about it. Superman's grandfather against three (or perhaps 4 If you count Lobo) of his greatest villains, so why doesn't it. It's not performances, those are usually acceptable. It's not the effects as those too are pretty solid (for TV anyway). It's that the plot circles and circles around the same points over and over, without getting anywhere - which given that there's only 20 episodes in total is criminal.

Aside from the plot problems, I still don't believe in this world, in how it works. In where the food comes from, in where people live - it doesn't feel genuine to me. Only having four sets doesn't help and at least 50% of this second season takes place in random caves on a moon that Zod can't attack for various contrived reasons. Also, the series is really consequence free. There's quite a shocking death in this second season . . . until its reset three episodes later and that's not the first time the show has brought a "dead" character back. I did like Lobo and I think he could benefit from a Constantine like jump to "Legends of Tomorrow" for a short run and the Darkseid tease at the end was nice, but ultimately I don't feel too bad that this is the end and I'm not obliged to sit through any more.
