We hear the footsteps and chains rattling as Garth Blackwood comes after Aristede. Aristede runs out the back door as Blackwood enters. Played by John Harkins, he is a frightening figure with a beard and clad all in black.
At Collinwood, Judith is talking to Evan about changing her will. Trask is angered when he hears this.
Trask goes to Evan and wants him to change Judith's mind but he refuses. A terrified Aristede arrives wanting Evan's help from Blackwood. Evan will not help him but Trask convinces Aristede he will exorcise the ghost if he murders Judith.
Evan agrees to let Aristede stay for a short time while Trask leaves. Blackwood is heard approaching and Aristede rushes out. Blackwood strangles Evan with his chain.
